Re: The PiRAT
Oh my goodness! Pirates and math geek! I hope this gets printed...it would be my first woot shirt in a while
LOL! GMV too.
Re: Some Translation Required
While I'm amused by the shirt, I think a wall of text with some art that looks like little more than clipart resources is pushing towards being rejected.

As Margaret Thatcher once stated: "Mi gusta"
Thanks for your votes! ♥ ♥ ♥
Re: Peg-Leg Pete's
Like a handful of the top submissions for this Derby, while I like the shirt, this is simply text with a watermark thrown on to cover the 'no text only' requirement. Seriously toeing the line.
Re: Online Pirate Supporter
Love the concept!
Re: The Rusty Hook
Agreeing with tarmawolf, like other top submissions while being humorous it's still a submission that prioritizes the text over the art, which, to me, is clearly disregarding the rules. :\
This should be fine. Kevlar's design from the last derby wasn't rejected, and Thatrobert printed with a shirt (in a "no text only" derby) where the "graphic elements' were borders around the text. You can have as much text as you want, as long as you have some kind of graphic element.
Re: No Quarter Given
Glad to see this in the fog.
Love the purple on blue!! & the design too...
Re: Pirate (space)ship
This is stunning. Brilliant work here +1
This is genuinely awesome.
Re: No Escape
Amazing job - your halftones are awesome. Poor mousy!
Re: Irrational Pirate
I can see the lighting issue, but I don't think it really ruins the illo, overall. Would be nice to tweak it but, now is not the time.
Enjoying the puns.
Re: Polly Want a Crack-arrrr!
The question is, which one is Polly?
That is gonna look GREAT on a shirt!
I also think this isn't keeping with the spirit of the "no text only" design rules.

Re: How to Drive a Pirate Mad
Yeah! Thanks, guys.
This is great! I'd buy it, and I'd say it fits the theme just fine.
if anybody asked me.
I usually like your stuff, Wences, you know that. But this made me sad. You've done the 'Like' thing before. Heck, Woot's printed recent 'Like' designs. Snooze. We need to move on.
Re: Pirate Pool Party
Aww, look at how much fun they're having!
Re: Sorry Polly!
Nice! I'm digging that he's got a spray bottle.
Re: Pirate Radio
I wanted to make a suggestion on the shirt and beard color. Did you tried the dark gray (slate) shirt? I think it fits the design better. I made the exercise in Photoshop with you're picture because I really like the design, but the green shirt is throwing it off for me. Hope it's ok I took the liberty (I don't want to be a jerk).
Re: Arrr !!!!
This one is just as much pop-art as the other one is?
Re: Ships Arr for Pirates
Great combination of pirate-y details. The flag/eyepatch is especially awesome.
Re: Bread 'n Butter Pirate
Hahaha, awesome character!

It's totally cool, I actually have a version in those colors, with a different brown on the globe. My original version just had 1 too many colors, so I have a couple different versions. I was debating which version to put on here.

Thanks. It is my favorite joke to tell kids.
Re: Failed Mutiny
