HI - just returned from hairdresser also. Another beautiful day. Tripped against a palm that has a needle-like bark. Ripped my right arm to pieces. Wonder if it will heal with no old age spots or wrinkles. Actually, wonder if it will heal without the doc. Poured hydrogen peroxide over it, used Neosporin and covered it. There is some swelling. All of this because I wanted to wash a window in the front of the house. Just goes to show you, no chores should be attempted.

This place is dog friendly, so I walked Rusty and then off we went!
Got there at 2. They said they were running late. Can you come back in 15 minutes?
OK, walk Rusty, get a phone call, can you make it 30 minutes?
WTHeck Rusty likes walking someplace new.
Go back, still running late. They will include a scalp massage for free.
OK.

Takes awhile, but they shampoo my hair, with all sorts of free extra conditioners and stuff.
Doggie is bored, but people keep petting him.

Started cutting hair at almost 4! Spent an hour on it. Apologized, played with Rusty.

Gave me some free small bottles of stuff to take home.

Now, if you are going to screw the timeline, that is the way to do it.
Free stuff. Spend extra time on you when they get to you. Let you bring the dog.

I could have had a cup of coffee and a newspaper. Oh well, I'll tell them for next time.


The sprinkler place should at least turn on the water for less money. I bet they will offer nothing.





The clothes washer isn't working right. Seems a dime got stuck in it.
Hubby is trying to fish it out with pliers now.
Stupid new appliances. Use to last 10+ years. My mother in law has the refrigerator that came with the house in 1960 in the basement. Still works.
Then they said after 5 years, if you are redecorating, get new stuff.
Now it is months?????

Oh My Fruitful Garden, a scalp massage. Would think I'd died and gone to heaven. I wonder how much they cost. I can't stand body massages, but I could do that.

one of those haircutting chains. I used to go to a friend who owns a place but she charged $60 just for the shampoo and a cut.

But they don't wash your hair.

When son was really young, like 4, I took him to a chain. I washed his hair and took him with it still wet.
They insisted his hair was greasy and refused to cut it.
They thought the wet was grease.
Since they refused to touch it, they couldn't tell it was wet.
Poor kid had me cutting it for another year.

I wouldn't want anyone that stupid cutting my kid's hair anyway.

Her son did.

The young lady that cuts my hair for $20 does a great job. I am pretty picky about who does my hair. I have had only about 5 people that can do it right in my life so when I find one I tend to stick with them. Unfortunately her husband finishes Grad School this year so he'll have to move to get work.
