Not here. I need sunshine too much to move to WA and TX is too hot. And Gatzby fires people too often.

Actually Orc is intrigued by the writing that accompanies the job at least in the posting, it's the moving to Seattle (which we have only a few problems with - mostly monetary), he's also the one with years of experience in community management (being a mod). I've only been an mod on and off for a few years. I like it though. We'll see if the job is still open when my grant runs out, then I'll have time to look into getting a special box. Personally though, I'm also debating Park Ranger - if it weren't for all those stupid people.

So, would we say gatz has a harem then? Is this a sexist conspiracy? I'm calling my lawyer!

I saw that at Mount Rushmore too. Doesn't get rid of stupid people though. Trust me, I worked for the state wildlife and fisheries agency for 7 years.

LOL, when I went to DC the map said the White House was right in front of me.
I didn't see it. There was a guard booth.
I asked the guard and he said," Since you can't actually see the building from here, I'll tell you.
When we are standing right in front of it, I give them the wrong directions."
He had a gun too.

The harem is in WA.
You were hired for your baby sitting ability.

Lets face it, it is harder to find a good baby sitter than it is to find a new harem member for Gatzby.

LOL - yeah being a ranger and dealing with people gets boring, that's not uncommon to give misinformation to the clueless. Spreading legends is also good for amusement.

TRUE!!!! I would love a good babysitter. Everyone tells me I kids are amazing, wonderful, etc - but I can't find a sitter I A) trust and B) can afford.

Stupid things I overheard today.

1. While wandering around a gift shop that is attached to the restruant I went to for lunch, it looks like an old town. One employee asked another..."Who decided to play modern music today?"

The music was early 50's stuff.

2. While in Panara, where we went for dinner, since I didn't need to go to two restruants in one day...
A group of women talking about church, their bible study group and stuff.
Suddenly one women said "Did you notice that Joann's breast have gotten huge?"

huh? That is what they are thinking at bible study?

National Forests are the number 1 body dump location in the US. The lack of patrols means even a location that you can drive to may not be discovered for a few weeks, or months in the off season, if it's discovered at all.

(statistic was told to me several years ago and may no longer be accurate, but I know that the patrol personnel have not increased and I doubt any other security measures have been added.)

Many, many years ago, a boyfriend and I were camping at a park. He treked up the hill to look around. Found a high spot and scouted the area. He realized the high spot was a strange shape. Kinda like 6' long and about 2-3' wide. Like a grave. He hopped off quickly, needless to say. We reported it to the ranger who took a look at it and agreed, that it could be a grave. When we left the camp site, he was pouring over books too see what to do in a protected park. His guess was that it was an ancient burial, not recent. Never did find out for sure though.

A real ranger knows that if the spot is remote enough - leaving the body unburied or in a shallow grave increases the chance of it being picked up and dispersed by scavengers. Now if it's near a campsite, the smell would be problematic of course. Ancient burial sites would have plant indicators...
