As I understand it, you do a halftone conversion for the Shirt Comp (which I did, including the close-up, so you can see the halftones in my conversion), but the instructions on the submission pages say:

Illustrator users, please submit your final art with gradients. We'll create the halftones on our end.

So, they make the halftone choices at Shirt.Woot from Illustrator files (which, are often at the smallest possible halftone)...

Kudos to you.

I picked out #16 (The Fifth Element) before I even read your first post.

The problem with this shirt is that I'd spend all day staring at my chest, basking in my own coolness...and I'm a lit major, which only makes it worse. A spectacular design.

This is amazing. It took me a moment to realize how the word was incorporated and as silly as it sounds, I just smiled when it clicked. You did an excellent job with this and I really hope more people take notice of this design and realize how wonderful it is. Great job!

Wow, love the references, nice job!

It reads as a fancy font but was all done by hand...no fonts used. I think the fact that it's legible at distance is a big plus. And it still conveys the meaning through the styling.
