Does it matter? Are you not proud of being an uber nerd? I, for one, am quite confident in my nerdiness, and it saddens me to think that there are those self conscious about being a nerd.

PS. They wouldn't be able to deem you a nerd if they didn't get the reference, would they?

No, that would be the switching from US to imported shirt debacle which followed shortly after the price increase. Not getting into the debate again, it's done and over with, but just for reference.

While there are shirts that have the doe and the word "always" - there aren't any that have the complexity, design, or anything that makes this shirt beautiful.

So, similar concept exists, but not a similar shirt. IMHO.

Really? I just bought a centered shirt with a deer and "always" written on it?

YES I DID. Because I can't resist a Snape reference, especially insofar as it refers to his sensitive, good self, and not his evil facade. And the design is beautiful.

Nice work.

My fiancee is an HP nut, but I haven't gotten past the 4th book or movie yet. Is this a good reference? Will she like it? She flew to South Carolina from Texas to see the final movie with her friends in costume, if that helps.

This design is amazing. I was SO excited for my shirt to come. When I saw the Woot bag in the mail I jumped up and down. But, sadly, they sent me a Mens Small instead of the Womens Small that is on my receipt. Does anyone know if Woot will exchange it for the shirt size I ordered?

Hello! I'm sorry you're having a problem with your order. While it is possible that you accidentally received a men's small rather than a women's small, I think it's likely that you received a women's small on the new blanks to which woot has switched. You would know if it's a women's size if, on the tag, the circle with the woot exclamation point is light blue (as dark blue is men's). For more information, please check out the following threads:

If you have any issues, please never hesitate to write to service@woot.com (please always make sure to include the order number of whatever purchase you're writing in for).

I just received the "After All This Time" shirt - in a woman's medium - but compared to all my other Woot shirts (which have all been mediums), this one is a lot bigger than the size measurements the chart shows. I'm a little confused as to why it's so wide.

These are printed on our new Anvil shirts, instead of the old AA blanks. You may have looked at the old sizing chart, or it could be a defect shirt. Please email us (service@woot.com) either way, and we'll help you out.

Is the print quality REALLY REALLY terrible on this for everyone?

Above and beyond the fact that the back hem is 1.5" longer than the front and the shirt is huge, the print is just awful. The slightest stretch of the fabric pulls the ink apart and causes it to start separating from the fabric. I expect the design to last one or two wears and one or two washes at most. I am incredibly disappointed.

These women's sizes are approximately 6" larger than the sizing chart claims. If you want a really big, baggy shirt then buy the size it says you should be. If you want a casual fit buy a size smaller. If you want a fitted shirt, buy two sizes smaller.

So basically anyone who is a size small and actually wants a fitted shirt is screwed.

I really hope this shirt situation is fixed.

Me too! I just got mine in the mail, tried it on and its HUGE. My bf usually buys me mediums and they fit fine, this one looks like a guys small/medium and looks awful on. The image is quite smaller than I anticipated as well. Such a shame, I REALLY love this shirt. I have another one in the mail as well that is a medium......So I pretty much have two shirts I won't be able to wear because I was unaware they had a change in the t-shirts (that run HUGE).

I must say that I feel the same way. This is my first Anvil shirt. I haven't bought a shirt from here in quite some time because I haven't desired any of those that have printed in the last few months (gaaaah I really wanted the blue one with the robot carrying the kitten to print!) ... I come on here everyday, though, so when this won a spot in the derby I decided to get it!

I just hoped the Anvils would be pretty much the same as the AAs, like they claimed. I always have ordered a women's small, WS; that fit me great! Now with the new blanks being larger, I have no size to go down to! This totally reminds me of a small/medium boy shirt (and I have experience with those since department stores only Star Wars shirts in the boys department).

I don't like it being wider than my hips! I liked the fitted blanks... and with this particular design, I definitely wanted a fitted shirt, not a night shirt.

It also doesn't feel as soft as the AA ones. But maybe I just need to wash it. I hope it doesn't shrink... because it will only shrink up and then I'll just have a wide square shirt

I bought a woman's xl and it was freaking huge. I assumed I must have bought the wrong size, but I checked my receipt and it says I purchased a WXL

I've taken several images, and I'm sending them to customer service, but as you can see, compared to "Playing Koi" which is also a WXL, "After All This Time" is about 4 inches wider, and an inch longer.

I'm thinking what happened is that they sent me a men's XL since the tag is slightly different, and there's no figure in a a dress on it, and the font isn't in cursive.

My women's tag is the same as yours I don't think it means that they sent us Men's ... maybe they just changed their tags for the next blanks and no longer have the symbol and cursive? In any event: THEY'RE TOO BIG!

[unless that Koi shirt is on an Anvil]

Don't dry these shirts! I washed mine (to see if it would shrink a little since it is 100% cotton and FREAKING HUGE) and it is already falling apart!!! Sadly this will probably be my last shirt from woot! until they get new, better quality shirts. I NEVER had this problem with the previous shirts. I have had them for years and wear them frequently, and they are still hanging in my closet like new. These are cheap and I tumble dried on LOW.

Here is the end result after ONE wash and ONE dry for 30 minutes on LOW. This is the seam in the back on the bottom. it has bunched up horribly too. The print seemed to stay intact, which is a HUGE surprise.

So I hope all the women who complained about the AA shirts being too small are happy because these new women's shirts are huuuge and box like. What is the point in having a mens and womens shirts, the only difference is that the sleeves on the womens shirt are shorter yet oversized. And my measurement of the womens medium is a little over 1" bigger than the one on the sizing chart.

Guess I'll be using my coupon to go back to a mens small like the good ol' days. (edit: after reading some of the complains above, maybe I'll have to live without one of the best shirt designs woot has seen in quite some time)

Go back to AA, woot. YA BLEW IT.

edit2: Are people getting any response from customer service on the measurement discrepancies? Is it worth sending?

Only in the length -_-. it looks worse on now than before... Before it looked like a boys tee (which was not horrible) now it's like a boys tee that is two inches too short. Sad times at woot

Unnecessary. The AA women's shirts ARE too small with limited options for women how carry a bit more up top or all over. They were perfectly right to complain (usually just requesting Woot add in the 2XL option that AA makes), and they couldn't know that Woot would select a foreign made crappy quality blank with even worse sizing issues.

Don't blame the women who complained because Woot's decision to change had NOTHING to do with them and everything to do with how a significantly cheaper blank impacts the profit margins.
