Re: Owls for Breakfast ? (v.2)

I started to work with the wordplay first and then tried to illustrate it, when I realized that the design can stand on its own, maybe without words at all. So here are two versions with more or less words, just to test which version works better. Feel free to vote for both of them if you like it and hopefully you do.

Indeed, and I feel like this is too many colors. And if there are halftones, they're awfully hard to make out.

I wish more people would vote for this. It's clearly superior.

Yeah I would act that way too if some random person just said that! I'd like to wind up in the 2nd or 3rd tier and maybe I'm almost there...

Other than the mustache I'm missing the superiority of this design. I think its the shirt color and the ink colors... I don't dig brown on brown.

I think this would be better without the words... Pronounced as I read the pun, it reads "bowel of whipped cream". Ewwy.

With all the healthy hipsters the poor yolks are always getting dissed. Plus, he looks very suspicious with that hoodie on...

Agreed! The owls are good by themselves I don't think you need any words.

Coffee wasn't even an English word until 1598. ;)

Re: Breakfast Across the Pond

So I have never submitted to the derby before, and I guess I didn't really get the idea of the shirt detail and shirt comp down, so sorry for the smaller preview. I couldn't find a way to resubmit a better preview and shirt comp image, and am not sure how the rules are on re-submission.

Anyhoo, my fiancee and I came up with this little image for everyone to enjoy, even if it is a bit late. Thanks for viewing.

Re: Cop Circles

Special Report!! Mysterious appearance of cop circles around the World. An on going global phenomenon while, reports of their random appearing continue to flood into our news room. We also have reports of their extraordinarily strange vanishing, into what would seem to be, thin air. Details to follow.

My fiancee and my own first attempt at a derby entry. We started way too late, we know, but figured it is better to start than procrastinate more.

Once close brethren, now bitter enemies on the topic of drink (unless you take yours with sugar).

Thanks for viewing.

Made a better preview of the shirt, but I couldn't find how to remove this entry. Please see new upload below.

Text is allowed.

Re: Cereal Mascot Cereal

Cereal mascots usually stand next to the cereal bowl. These mascots got a little too close and became this shirt's cereal.
