I have one, but getting a new copy in my size (on AA) would be nice. Perhaps a cats vs mice event?

Severely disappointed that there are no penguin totes here. My wife loves penguins but doesn't wear t-shirts, however she has a wide array of totes. Sad face.

For the Aviator, is there suppose to be a second penguin head on the backside of the hoodie?? Seems awkward.

rrhour wrote:Anyone know how how the sizes for zip up hoodies compare to AA t-shirt sizes?

I used to get men's medium AA t-shirts and they fit pretty snug/tight. Don't want a hoodie that's too baggy, and prefer to have it go to about waist length.

I've been wearing AAXL, so I bought an XL zipped hoodie. I thought the hoodie was quite large, much too large for me. It may shrink in the wash, but then the zipper will be scrunched.

I suggest buying a size smaller.

I disagree-- I normally wear 3xl in the AA tees, and the 2xl in the zip up is tight enough that I can't throw it in the dryer. The pullover was better, but I still hang dry it just in case. Might be because I have some womanly assets, however.

I was coming here to ask that. Looks like the mockup is just wrong to me.

Also, has anyone bought an anvil hoodie yet, i'm tempted to buy this one. I already have the T

AFAIK, they're Gildan, not Anvil. But that's just me going by the specs; unlike the t-shirts, the staff has not confirmed the actual manufacturer.

Not very well. The small hoodie would be about the same length but 3" wider at the chest.

I wear an AA WXL or WL (depending on how many chips I ate the night before). I have a M hoodie, and it's huge. I'm thinking about breaking out my serger and attempting major surgery. It just really looks awful. Order as small as you can, and it may still be big on you.

* ZIP UP. I have a M ZIP UP hoodie and it's huge. Not a pull-over.

For an alternative perspective, I'm a solid AA WL and I find the Small zip-up hoodies to be too narrow in the chest and too tight in the hips when zipped, so the zipper and pockets do this weird stomach bulge thing. I decided to try for Medium zip-up hoodies in a recent sale and, while they are indeed oversized, I believe that they aren't ridiculously so. I think that once I wash them and dry them on high in the dryer, they'll shrink down to perfection. They're comfortably slouchy in that boy-hoodie-on-a-girl way--the perfect weekend/work-out/I'm going to the movies so why are you even looking at me hoodie. They're even quite jaunty when worn hanging open with the sleeves rolled up, a striped shirt underneath, sloppily rolled up skinny trousers, and bright chucks. It's become an early spring uniform for me right now, actually. FASHION TALK! ヽ( ゚ヮ・)ノ.・゚*。・+☆

Would have loooved Ironic bunny on a hoodie!

So far I've been unable to bring myself to pay $20 for a longsleeve (who knows, maybe the right one will come along). I know the hoodie is more than that, but I'd wear it much more so with the right design...

I am also hesitant about buying some of these tees, I know baby blue should still be in AA but I thought woot was out of AA Asphalt. Not sure if I should chance paying a premium price for a sub-par product.

I'm just excited that You Have to Try This Guys is available again. Been wanting that shirt for a long time. I just have to convince myself to buy it on Anvil having just recently bought another green Anvil shirt.

my son has been wearing the "In addition to your radishes, I will take this
by DeadFrog" for long enough to have grown out of it, and it is fantastic that I get to upgrade the sizing for this and his other favorite, "You Have to Try This Guys
by fablefire."

One question: How do we request additional Longsleeves and Hoodies? I have more than a drawer full of shirt.woot T-Shirts. When there is a chance to go back to an old design, I usually want longsleeves... not repeats.

Someone already brought this up, and from what I can tell - the creator of that design has been banned after suspicions were confirmed that they had been stealing design ideas from others.

I wonder about that, myself. The majority of my early woot shirts were James Cho designs. I wonder if derby inconsistencies had something to do with him not being around here anymore. As far as I know, he's the only artist to have a derby rule made up on the spot just to reject an entry. That incident along with the "unrejection" of another shirt that should have remained rejected prompted this in Adder's signature...

ETA: j5, I know you've been around long enough to know all of that, but I figured I would bring it up anyway.

Of course, part of the question is how you like your hoodies to fit. As Narfcake mentions, the hoodies are the same length but wider. I have both S and M pull-over hoodies and found that I preferred the M because it comes to the bottom of my rear end. The S hoodies fit just fine and probably look more "neat," but when I'm wearing a hoodie, "neat" is usually not the look I'm going for!

Narfcake wrote:AFAIK, they're Gildan, not Anvil. But that's just me going by the specs; unlike the t-shirts, the staff has not confirmed the actual manufacturer.

Well, one of my hoodies has a Gildan tag. Does that count as confirmation?

Sadly, she won't be adding to it this year. Between the price increase and the poor quality/sizing of the new blanks, I just can't justify a purchase.

Sorry little sis ... too bad you're one of the former WS wearers now left out in the cold by the supplier switch. O_o

You are my new fashion hero. The zip up does seem oversized compared to the pullovers. Need to flip the penguin/bunny coin since it's a one thing from the side sale week.
