It's for the AAxa p4, any ways, I thought this sounded like a good idea because that way I can put it in or take it out and it would serve as a reward system for him. Also I thought it would be good to use in the living room for like a family movie night. So I was wondering what your thoughts were on this and if you know anything on the brand that would be helpful. Thanks guys
I don't know anything about that specific projector, but I do like the thought of having an easy to move item (where a TV is not, really).
Ultimately though, if you're not comfortable with the idea at all, there's nothing saying you have to. Perhaps we can get some other parents to chime in on their thoughts. (And don't forget to check deals if you are shopping around, too!)
I'm just hanging out, really.

Dear god no. You will be very disappointed in this projector, and you will not be able to see it at all unless you cover the windows with blackout curtains. In general projectors just aren't a good choice, and that is why they are only used in niche cases. For the same price you can get a decent lightweight LCD TV that will be even easier to move in and out of the room.

Not to mention that their claims on their products don't even attempt to appear realistic. I accept that advertisements lie, but they don't need to insult my intelligence as well.

Limiting the time is easy...most lcds lack much control outside of the remote.

Even if the didn't, who would want to get up every time they wanted to use the TV? It isn't even worth it at that point.

But, you can't look at nature films in a shared room...
