Last week's head-to-head battle was for the ultimate crown of cute. Hoodie, tote bags, long sleeved tees and t-shirts threw down to see who was more beloved: penguins or bunnies? Now we've tallied the votes and we're ready to show you the adorable data.

Team Cottontail

1146 bunny-related items sold, perhaps in connection with the Easter season. Our highest bunny seller was the regular tee You Have to Try This, Guys!, with 311 sold. Well represented from the masters of hippity hoppity!

by Fablefire
TOP SELLER

Team Tuxedo

The penguins made a respectable showing, with 986 total sales, but they just didn't have enough lift to reach bunny-filled heights. Even still, top seller for the penguins was t-shirt Cooler Than You with 176 sold, so at least they weren't frozen out.

Final Score

At the bell, it was Bunnies with a clear advantage on points, but since Penguins never hit the mat… could this be a two out of three situation? Will these titans face off again somewhere down the road? We smell a rematch in the air! But for now, bunny lovers, know that the day is yours.

C'mon Wootbot, you know as well as we do that they'll end up together and have hundreds of little bunguin offspring.

Just FYI, You Have to Try This Guys was the number two seller last week for *all* shirts outside of debut day sales, only trailing The Formula for Success (aka Bazinga!)

Would have been a home run for bunnies if Meatatarian
Had been available. Makes me extra glad I picked one up when it was.

The Penguins will avenge this.

That or Oswald Cobblepot will find a way to get revenge.

This, all the way. You gotta try this is my favorite shirt, but I also have Meatatarian as a large sleep shirt and would buy it again in a smaller size if given the chance. I regret not doing it originally. ^^;

I kick myself for missing Meatatarian, but I'm happy I got the chance to pick up its predecessor even if it is on an Anvil blank.

Ok, woot! What is the world is going on? I bought "In Addition to Your Radishes" for one of my kids when it was first issued a few years ago. Mean child would never let me borrow it, so I jumped at the chance of having my own when it was offered again.
First mistake was not sizing down to a woman's XL. Yeah, I know. You guys warned me. I'm 5'10" & normally wear a ladies 8-10. Since I don't like my T images distorted, if you catch my drift, I always went with the AA WXL. Lesson learned on this. Very baggy in the waist & arms.
What is really odd is the reprint is MUCH larger, and with much deeper & darker colors. I'd say it's almost half again as big as the original. It's still pixelated like the original was, but has less of the original's dreamy quality, for the lack of a better description.

Has anyone noticed this with versions of any other reprinted shirts?

Wait, was your shirt on AA or Anvil? That shirt was supposed to be on AA, with sizes running small.

Well, crap. #3 kid and I are simply losing our minds. It DOESN"T have an Anvil tag after all AND says it's made in the US. Guess that means it IS an AA. Damn, this must be my Emily Litella week.
I don't know if it's a sizing fluke, but when we lay an unworn, unwashed old AA woot shirt on top, the size difference is really apparent.

Shirt size aside, the image sizes are markedly different. Old shirt image is approximately 9"x8" and the reprint is 12"x11". I understand even a shirt that has only been hung dry only will shrink some what, but there's no way an image will shrink down that much. I need to upload a photo of the difference in image sizes for you guys to see.

The print size for the guys shirt says approximately 13"x11". Perhaps you were sent a guys shirt instead of a ladies shirt.

I still need to find my original run of The Aviator to compare to the long sleeve version; I don't recall if the linework was supposed to look as rough as the one I received.

I would say that it might have to do with being first sucker, but I was last Wooter on Spring-ATRON, and that didn't come out right either.

I still couldn't find my original run t-shirt ... anyways, this is how the long sleeve came out:

I know where my first run Aviator is, as well as Along with Your Radishes. I'll pull them this weekend and take pics (and get a stack going to 'name that tee').

From memory, that's much blurrier than the original, though. Kind of sad, based on this I don't know if I want to buy any of the side deals. :/

Since Gatzby indicated these are printed via the same process as the normal shirts, what does that mean for normal shirts?

Perhaps the same print quality issues that folks commented on for Too Many Cooks, Read, Curiosity, and a few others?

I don't get totally nit-picky about every single little print "issue". Yeah, the half-tones for the light rays didn't show up very well in Almost Free, but it's not that huge of a major detractor for me to complain. One of my six(?) copies of Unstealthiest Ninja was slightly off in registration, but again, it didn't detract from the image enough to warrant a complaint. A t-shirt wrangler left their hair under the screen print area of Something I Must Do, which I might have noticed earlier if I didn't take like two years before wearing it for the first time, but I can touch the line back up to make it look good.

The ones I did complain on:
- First copy of Life Choices was definitely printed crooked; replacement copy less crooked.
- The Cheese is a Liederkranz long sleeve; both #001 and the replacement that was sent were missing parts of the print. I didn't complain the second time.
- Spring-ATRON, last Wooter copy. Excessive bleeding on the black ink.

Again, going off my memory, I know there's a certain "pencil sketch" look for this, but I don't recall the line work looking as blurry as this one does.

So, in reference to my post here, here are some comparison photos (in icky lighting with my phone because someone forgot to charge her camera battery so the photos are quite blurry but whatever I'm too lazy to redo them so there dealwithit.gif) of my original run and new "In addition to your radishes..." Both are on AA WL, but I'm pretty sure that the new one is actually an AA WXL, despite the tag; it's noticeably larger. That's not an issue at all, though. I actually like the larger shirt size--works well for my bloated foodbelly days.

Right click + view image in order to see the gigantic humongous really really big version of each photo:

I like the new one better. Much more detail resolution.

Thanks for sharing the pics, Goldenthorn.

Wish I could show you how large the same print looks on a women's medium, but I don't have any image hosting capability.

Thank you narfcake for the genius tip! I didn't know.

Here it is -- the Radish reprint on a women's medium. I wonder how they squeeze it onto a small!

It's still an awesome print, and although the over-saturated colors do change the feeling of the design, it is nice that the picture is clear and ... obvious.

Since Ms GT covered the radishes so well, I'll just show The Aviator original. It's been washed 2-3 times, I think. Maybe a few more, but not terribly many.

What is up with the lumpy head on the original? It looks like part of the cloud was weirdly included into his head?!?

No idea, since I've still yet to find mine, but thanks to your pic, I figured why mine looks blurry. The left side (right side of the shirt) appears to be double-printed.

Just wanted to say thanks to Tyler @ CS for getting a replacement order.

Since I was neither first nor last for Suburban Blitzkrieg, I hope that one is going to arrive fine. Otherwise, the track record hasn't been all that good for me here with the side sales.
