Thanks, y'all! I redrew this about 10 times, including once with the Mt Rushmore Presidents in shades, but I couldn't get that one to work. This looks like a tough week in the Derby!
Re: The Surveyor
This is fabulous!
Re: Nature's Gardner
i like your style, but what i like most about this is the surprise it gave me when i saw the grass is actually a tree line. it turns the protagonist into a giant just like that. GMV
So cute! I love this, and I know so many people who are really into mustaches right now and would love this as a gift. I really hope it prints!
I do like your style switch-up. It's a good look.
Re: Planet Earth National Park
Ok, but where are the hikers? You have sleeping and swimming and I like the design. But if you had the hikers icon or backpackers icon then I would buy it!
I guess maybe all those other icons are what families do, but I'm all about the hiking, or backpacking.
Ah Walmazan, your designs always make me smile. Also, between this and "Tickles to Tinkles" I'll never look at rain clouds the same way again.

like the guy says. GMV
Re: Only Memories
Hmm, Patrickspens has entered his "dark period".
Anything on your mind you want to talk about there, Mr. Spens?
Re: Plant a tree
Nice Job! It gets the point across without being loud about it. Of the ones that are being reviewed right now I hope this one wins!

Re: From the Heart
I LOVE the painterly quality of this. It's so fresh and beautiful. I'm a traditional painter myself, and I need to learn how to translate my painting style into t-shirt designs as flawlessly as this.
Re: Old Faithful
hilarious as always!
what strikes me first is how beautiful this is. but it also brings a message across, in a fun way. love the colours, the bear's pose, the texture, the sidekicks... GMV
Re: Trade Winds
Very nicely done. I'm rooting for this to place.
I'm a sucker for the old school style. Love it.
Re: Top of the World
wow! i especially like the sky, and the composition. GMV
such glee! GMV
Perfect! love it!
Is it a cave or... what are we looking at? I feel like the person is just floating there, is it underwater?
Re: Hiker's Dawn

Re: So close, So far
So so Great!!
Really good. Very nice work...
I'm feeling a little dizzy!
Re: Open Sky, Open Heart
This is a really beautiful design, I especially like the sky. I have to ask, did you use a photo for the clouds?
Adorable. This is great!
Dang, you beat me to it.
dreadwood wrote:I'm amazed at the depth you're able to create using halftones. I wish you'd do a tutorial sometime, it is truly impressive. Great design.
He already did one.
bluetuba wrote:This is super great, I love how the top of the tree blends into the shirt.
I'm in agreement with that. Exceptional execution on his one!
@dreadwood: Thank you for the compliments. They are much appreciated.
@sarynanightstar: Well, go buy something! Then come on back. I'm sure the reckoning has something available that you would like.
yellowflower wrote:I really like the style of this. I wish glow-in-the-dark ink was allowed for derbies.
Thanks. It would look really nice as a glow in the dark shirt.
I have your "Not Like The Other..." shirt and it is one of my favorites ;)
The cloud laughing so hard he sprinkled is awesome!
