Do I buy extras of They're Too Short and proCatstinaTION OR do I buy a couple of the special spring shirts OR do I wait to see how much my lovely wife spent on the new Cal king-sized mattress??? The wrong decision could lead to much grief!

To be fair, Woot voters eat that stuff up, as they've shown on more than one reckoning. Semi-cute ninja turtles references are the soylent green of this community. If voters would actually vote for more thought provoking and artistic entries then things like this would be a moot point.

I think you missed grahamcracker's main point: the image posted by jaredvogler in the Derby was stolen directly from Ramy's website. That's not okay anywhere, but - as a community - we have a responsible to make it clear that we don't reward either intellectual property theft or that level of childishness; attention and votes are a powerful form of positive reinforcement/reward. I tried the guesstimates in the past ... it didn't work so well. No worries, folks - we'll just be in the dark on DSR numbers for that week, that's all. Just like the olden days! Except for the shirts ... the days of Woot shirts that still say "made in the USA" on the tags are numbered.

I'm still on the fence about the poor cricket (I've decided that he's merely sailing around a little pond, not about to die on the Titanic: voila, less creepy! and he is cute!). Has anyone received a Cricket on a woman's blank? Where does the print fall relative to, um, well - I'm concerned about where the ice cubes will land when I put the shirt on. BTW, if anyone is on the fence about ProCATStination: I adore it! It seems particularly soft and stretchy: definitely one of my new favorites (even if it does have evil CATS on it). First time in a long time that I ordered a back-up shirt! (Colin, I adore Curiosity and it's at the top of the list of shirts that I regret that I won't own. I really wish that it had printed on AA in women's! I thought about a MS, but I tried one on once and it was way too big, unfortunately.)
My predictions for how #246 will start off ... 1. The Formula For Success 2. Leonardo 3. The Tyger 4. Casual Friday 5. Hungry Hungry Games 6. Artichokey 7. Lucky Pig 8. Shhhhhhh 9. Only Memories 10. Honey Badger Cares 11. The Binge 12. Nevermore 13. 1971-Floppy Diskette 14. Read 15. Happier Ending 16. Fire and Ice 17. Lucky at last 18. The Start of Spring 19. Family Breakfast 20. Air Quoth 21. 8-Bits to Rule Them All 22. The Little Things 23. Save the Trees 24. Where’s The Cheese? 25. Don’t Walk / Silly Walk 26. Naturestache 27. Captain Green Beard
With less than 20 minutes to go, will there be any shirts that Narf might Make a bid to be 'Wooter to Blame for Sellout?

I got the numbers around 10:30 PDT, aka "our time." Should I post them just send them to you? Would other number geeks (is that what we are calling ourselves?) want to see them? How about a side-by-side with the NarfNumbers?
It's 11:55PM, "Spelling Bee" is still today's shirt, but "Going Down with the Ship" is already Reckoned? Not cool, woot, not cool! ETA: I've been able to flip open today's shirt - still "Spelling Bee" - and look at the "current" Reckoning page, both opened since I posted at 11:57PM, and the shirts from 245 are still up - but when I click on a shirt, "I want one" is replaced by "Reckoned." If the servers are going to run early, at least have them all run consistently early!

Posting would be good, as a few others run their own numbers too. Thank you for grabbing them, and also for the debut day numbers every night. Without them, my numbers would not be as complete as they are.

OH YOU SUCK! :P With that said, that was the very last time I would've been first sucker + last wooter. I did that stunt 6 times already ... which I think is 6 times more than anyone else has in the past 4+ years.

Man, I've been trying for last sucker on certain prints for a while now it seems. Every time I pick one out, I checked, and sure enough it was on AA blanks, and you were the first sucker. Sorry to deny you at the end here, but it almost seems fitting that the last time that you are likely to go for the first and last trophy, that I would finally, finally take the win.
bluejester wrote:... but it almost seems fitting that the last time that you are likely to go for the first and last trophy, that I would finally, finally take the win.
That is true. But seriously, no hard feelings. This has always been done out of sheer silliness, and I've definitely had my share of first suckers and last wooters in the past year anyways. Nothing wrong with being second to last, right? Yeah, but it has a cat on it. But it's Robbie Lee design ... and that's always good. Yeah ... but cats. And ... Wait! - you bought Fishbiscuit's kitties too, didn't you? Ummm ... ARRRRRRGHHH!

As soon as my clock hit 11:54, I had to start the order, and even then I took a chance and counted to ten before placing the order. To "play the game" means cutting it close. Really close. But it's interesting when you know that some where, out there in the country that the merest click of a mouse can spell victory or defeat.
No, no, I'm sure it was a WS!

Aw, shucks! I wasn't even trying to be last wooter: I thought I was getting in before 11:55, but I honestly think they closed a bit early tonight - and when I saw the wootoff come up, I developed a suspicion why.
