White was a bold choice. Last week, not a single creme shirt fogged. It'll be interesting to see if the shirt color effects the success of this design.

Thanks,So glad you like it.
The meteors really make this. They turn it into a story instead of just a design. Like he's going to single handedly fight extinction or something.
Re: Nouveau Hater
LOL
Re: Betta Nouveau
I think the idea has a lot of potential and I love the tail, I just wish there was more texture, color, and art nouveau touches. Some background pieces or borders, and more fluidity to the fish itself. Nice effort though!
Peafowl is a funny word.
collinvh wrote:Thanks orabbit. Hopefully woot! still has some cranberry AA blanks if this happens to fight though the fog and print. I would just love to have a print on the old shirts. Thanks for the great comments everyone!
I am sad that RamyB has driven this from the fog...very zen.

Re: Window-side kitty
Very cool!!!

Thanks! I experimented with halftones but it looked better in solid.
My kids and I play an animal game in the car, and if you spot a cat in a window, you instantly win! If I had this shirt, we'd always have a winner.
Re: Fleur
my attempt at "art nouveau"...

Zagazoo wrote:I really love the way you drew the martian woman, the style is simple but very clear and unique. You chose which features to emphasize well. There is a distracting tangent between the bottom of here shirt and the dome of the saucer. Since they line up at first glance I don't see the dome as being part of the saucer but rather a part of the woman. If you scale horizontally out with the dome and overlap the bottom of her shirt intersecting with the saucer I think it would solve this problem. Overall well done. The color choices are also very appealing!
Thanks for you kind words. You are totally right about the tangent. I guess I never noticed when working on it full size. I don't think there's enough interest to make a revised version but I greatly appreciate your critique!
Re: Cat Nouveau
Diana, This is so nice. I'm always a fan of yours.
Re: Butterfly Effect
This is really beautiful. I love the way the image flows and draws in my eye. I don't know if you will take this as a compliment but when my two-and-a-half year old daughter saw this one she said it was her favorite and told me to buy it!
Alright, you got me to log in for the first time in about a month in order to vote for this design. Well played, good sir.
noxandpy wrote:Thank you from both of us! The framing in general is rather indicative of the style, but I kinda love the feeling that the natural elements (the tail specifically) refuse to be contained or boxed in. Thanks for sharing; we always appreciate that!!
I think it is stunning as is. I personally love the frames behind. It could be seen as an ornate fence with a peacock sitting on the top. I will buy if it wins.
Rock on baby!

Hey, I submitted the border-less version Here! Let me know what you think!
Re: The Perfect Dance-Border-less Nouveau
This is the Border-less version of the Dance. Here is a high Detail view! This version is Two Colors on black! Hope you like it! But make sure if you zoom in that you wait for it to load completely. Then it will become a lot more clear.
