I'm really happy that we both made something as a tribute to Gaudi I go to Barcelona once a year at least, cause I've got some family and friends there, and I never get tired of going to the Park Guell, the Sagrada Familia, the Batllo and the Mila house and many amazing places. I think he was one of the greatest.

Of course I love this design :D

Very, very nice. Great use of electronic colors and grungy textures. Don't get me started on the wonderful construction of the bot.

Excellent!

Lovely work, Wirdou. I can definitely see the references you're making in this. Gaudi is certainly inspirational.

Re: Can-Can

I like Walzaman's work, but it makes me sad that this is already in the fog because it's not art nouveau style. It's just a cutesy play on something vaguely French.

Thank you both. :^)

I get the feeling this entry will have a limited appeal, but I sure did enjoy designing it.

I think it's a beautiful illustration, but I wish it had some more color in it. It took a second to figure out what she was actually painting because there's not much for one color to stand out besides that in her hair.

Beautiful. It's detailed, but also has a nice, simple feel to it. (And I mean "simple" in the best possible way, just can't think of a better way to describe it.) Even the off-center placement works. Wonderful job, I hope more people take notice and vote!

First thing I thought of when I saw the design (and read the name of it) was Pepe Le Pew and Looney Tunes. The character might be older than me, but it has been updated through the years and is still around (and property of Warner Bros.).

Plus, the graphic is pretty much the same as the one in wikipedia...

For the record, not a dude.

I appreciate the extra effort to provide a bigger detail, but do you worry about thievery when posting big versions on designs? With the rash of bootleg shirts lately, I'd be concerned.

It's been far too long since I have made anything for this site, or any shirt designs period.... so be friendly! >.>

Of all the styles I saw, Rene Lalique interested me the most, so this is based on his work. Thanks for any votes in advance!

Gorgeous. The coloring on the peacock is amazing.

I like how the peacock's body was incorporated into the background a bit, but the other part just seems kinda there. I still love the design, it just seemed a little disjointed, the different components. If that's an aspect of the art nouveau style, feel free to totally disregard this!

Re: Robo Nouveau

It does look a *little* Iron Man-ey with the lights and the shape of the mask but I don't think it's too close.

Very cool design.
