It's just an analogy.

I noticed this too. I'm trying to order Playful Foxes in the recycled tee. The individual sizing chart on its page said it's from Honduras (Anvil), so I would need a men's medium for my sister. However, when I went to the order page, there was no distinction between men and women's sizes. (Also no kids sizes at all?)
So does anyone know what the truth is?

Ok, Woot dudes....
You know I love you. I think you are all very smart (sexy-smart!) dudes. (And dudettes.) I respect you and hold you in the utmost regard, sing your praises to those who will listen, and have done all of the above for many years now.
This happens EVERY time you offer up one of these special events, however.
Really,
WHO THE $%#&@* IS THE MARKETING "GENIUS" WHO CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE OUT TO PUT THE BOOK/READING-THEMED DESIGNS ON FREAKING TOTES??!!!!!!!
Books....totes....books.....totes....books....totes....books....totes....
Is it really so hard to catch on and see the connection there???
Seriously.
They go together, like yabba-dabba-jabba-nabba.....
I would soooooooooooooooooooooooo buy the "Save the Trees" design on a BOOK TOTE.
1. It means so much more that way---sorta ironic in this case, in fact.
2. Totes get seen by more people. A t-shirt gets worn every once in awhile...and if you have several great ones, well then....you know, it's not like you can change every 10 minutes or wear them all at once.
Okay....I'm done ranting now....but someone is being stupid.
*in my best Ney'tiri voice with a very good Na'vi accent*: "stupid...stupid like a child!!!"
(Please note that the above was typed with love and affection. Sorta the way one loves a stupid little brother.) ;-)

Have plans yet to read Asimov's Foundation trilogy? I highly recommend.

Based on the Anvil page for their recycled tees, they only come in mens sizes.

That one makes me cry every time I read it, the intangible-yet-indelible-perfection-of-being kind of tears. It and Tiptree's The Screwfly Solution are my top two short stories of all time.
This week, I'm revisiting the Foundation series (and after that on to reread all my other Asimov), as I haven't read them in over ten years. Gods damn but it's just as lush and perfect as it was when I first read it! I'm currently on Foundation and Earth.
I rose in rainy autumn and walked abroad in a shower of all my days.
