I've heard through the grapevine that Woot is capable of doing simulated process and 7 color designs now. Is this true, or have I been misinformed?
Also, is there any way that Woot can give a tiny little bit of prior notice to its artists that a design is about to print? I missed the opportunity to communicate with my commenters on my last design as I was out of town and didn't check my email all day. If I had a little prior notice (a week, 48 hrs) I could have been available.
Also, can someone give me a link to the page that lets me change my artist profile info? I'd like to add my FB page and make some other edits, but I can't find it. There's a field in the derby submission form, but can I do this without submitting a derby entry?

There have been dailies with as many as eight or nine inks occasionally. The color limit is a financial/artistic one more than a technical one. I can't remember a shirt printed with simulated process... maybe someone else can?

Shirt.Woot will probably never let anyone know in advance what date a shirt will print. They love the daily surprise. You just gotta visit every day to make sure you don't miss anything!

There is no artist bio page, you always have to submit your links with your design - whether it's a daily or a derby entry. I'm sure you could email Barbara or Travis to edit your info before it prints though.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer so thoroughly! Travis actually emailed me back, but I really appreciate your info. It turns out they they are willing to tell artists a couple days before their prints are scheduled. I think they just don't want to ruin the surprise for the customers. It's mainly a planning challenge. Right now they have one of my pieces tentatively scheduled to print, but it might be changed based on a few different variables. Travis did say he's just started doing dailies again and he plans on trying to let artists know a day or two in advance of their print dates. Hopefully he'll be able to make the time to do this. Thanks again for the thoughtful post!

Some clarification on this: both Barbara and I have been reviewing dailies together since I got here. I'm just taking on the setup and scheduling side of things for a while to mix things up a bit.

The shirt scheduling can shift around quite a bit and as Spiritgreen said we like to keep things a surprise so we typically like to play it close to our vest. I would like to give a day or two advance notice to the artist, so we'll see if it can work out that way. I think the worry is that the artist starts publicizing what shirt we're going to run before we run it. We'll see what we can manage on that front.

Thank you for clarifying Travis!
