Re: Goodbye Earth

Stunning and breathtaking. Really, an entire story and history in a simple image. Not to sound like an ultra-right Christian, but I don't think the Earth will end this way - but even so - I think any human that looks at this has a gut-wrenching feeling of species death. I think it is almost the same feeling you would have the moment before you were sucked through a black hole. Well done.

Re: Mr. Cosmos

It's simple, it's goofy, and I likey a lot. So much better than the photorealistic nebula designs out there. I can see my sons wearing this until the ink falls off.

Sweet design but the lunar progression is wrong, the second image is waxing (getting bigger) the rest is awesome.

Re: Storytelling

Hi guys!! Just wanted to pop in again and say THANKS! Your voting is keeping us up near the top in a very volatile week!

@atrain728 - I hear ya on the three animals thing. We really wanted to focus less on one constellation/animal and pick three very different animals (carnivore, fowl, mythical) to drive home the idea of multiple cultures. I can see where it's a lofty goal for a tee shirt. :D

@leprechaungirl - THANK YOU! <3

I've managed to get the swirl right a few times, but never with a good shade to match. The 'stars' are the real hard part, nothing that's a common coffee additive has worked long enough for me to get the swirl. Trying to stick to things that make the coffee edible, but I might have to sacrifice that to succeed. I haven't given up, though!

I'm dreaming when I'm tired, and I'm tired when I'm awake.

Hey! I see it now!

I appologize for using the word (the one that describes what it looks like if you don't have a picture of Oscar the Grouch to prod you in another direction...and subsequently got my previous comment erased). My bad!

@leprechaungirl : no prob… it's okay if you see the cookie monster, a naked woman, ant hills, eggs in a nest, after all, nebulae's are kind of blurry in nature… :D

usopp wrote:you have this bold, graphic, simple star, and then you have this detailed woman swinging from it. the 2 styles are clashing together and look awkward. I'd make something else simple swinging from the star. something simple and cute. I really like the star, and the concept. i want this shirt to work.

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the result either, I will probably reuse it, but more of a cartoony girl next time.
