i like this a lot.
(would like it even more if the "go directly to the cave" bit had the same-ish font and spacing as the original - to give it that retro look - and if the "Chance" bit consisted of a single word, so that it's clearly a title and doesn't clutter things)

Dogs love to play, and since they're bilingual, they'd enjoy a word scramble game. The border collie is very food oriented, and the yorkie likes to play. The lab is a little distracted, he can't think of anything buy squirrels, and he chews on his pencil while he fantasizes about chewing on a squirrel's tail. The German shepherd is pretty focused - I think she's going to win. I hope you like my design.

By the time I realized I needed the board edge, it really was too late to add it into the design.
