well, another killer t-shirt. if you get men's t-shirts back, instead of the 'new' ones, i will be back in line for the shirts. please let me know if you start using the good t-shirts again.
love the design, hate the shirts.

Very strange, chrome still has the 11:57:41 PM sale as the last sale on the community page. I looked at ie and it had the 12:16:35 AM sale. So the first day sales were greater than/equal to 1342

Never had this happen before!

Warning: spoilers

I'm another that enjoyed the story as much as the shirt, and bought it. I've never read that story by Clarke, I'll have to find it.
Comic book series "The Legion of Super-Heroes" also did a similar story in the 90s, plus the story also reminds me of "The Noah Plan", much like the red astronaut one did. Wish that one had made it into top 3...

For $15 it should have been done front AND back. They could have left out the purple and just made it all blue. Once you add shipping, the price tag resembles those at a concert. NOT exactly a bargain.

I don't want it front and back. My biggest complaint is that the printing came out very grainy- it's more 8-bit than expected. Such a beautiful shirt, but you have to look at it from across the room to really appreciate it.

I'm really glad I wasn't the only one to think so. I love the design but I'm so disappointed in the quality that I don't really want to wear it. Mine also had an ugly shiny square around it, like an at-home iron on transfer.

I'd think it was a reference to the Sword of Truth series, "Pillars of Creation" by Terry Goodkind, but I'd be wrong.

It's more likely a reference to the super-popular astrophotograph taken by the Hubble telescope, also called "The Pillars of Creation", since they have already been destroyed... just as the storyteller said.
