I imagine that the cause of rejection is a possible similarity with Dory, though I do not think it's so obvious.

Perhaps the words in the title could be misleading. Better this tittle?

This represents two different personality defects . . . people afflicted with hyperactivity (the dog) and, of course, the buzz kill (the cat).

I don't know about this. Something strikes me as inappropriate. If it were a jokey shirt about autism or bipolar, which are also very, very real, it'd seem a hell of a lot less cute.

This is an illustration of Aesop's Fable, "The Scorpion and the Frog." Many entries in Aesop's collection seem relevant to this derby btw.

The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."

Yep - OCD is an actual clinical disorder (and OCDP is a personality disorder). If schizophrenia is off the table, OCD should be too.

Maybe revise this shirt to be about people who think they are OCD without actually knowing anything about OCD? As a psychologist, those are the ones who irk me.

Honestly, it actually took me a few minutes to get this. I was way over thinking it because of the glass designs being a bit off, at least to me. They look more like something you'd find in a lab, so I was trying to figure out if the joke was along the lines of positively or negatively charged liquids, a chemistry play of some kind, rather than a half full/helf empty outlook. Just my thoughts on perhaps cleaning up the design a bit!

I have OCD--bad OCD, and I try to have a good sense of humor about it amongst people who understand what my life is. It does not seem like you have that same grasp. As for whether this should be rejected, you're walking a fine line. Don't step on the cracks, though. Something bad might happen.
