bluejester wrote:I keep waiting for this shirt to be less awesome, and it isn't happening.

I know it took a little over a minute for the first sale to occur, but I think that it just because people saw it and had their socks knocked off. After they remembered that simply throwing money at the screen wasn't going to work, the hitting of the "I want one" button began.

I might be wrong in this, but I think this could actually sellout.

The minute is how long it takes to check the sizing chart and see if we're dealing with AA or Anvil, because SIZE MATTERS!

Looks like the yellow brick carpet lead them to the lounge room. Classic idea Robbie. Looks like you took a lot of care getting this now just right. Hope it stays in the charts for a while.

Doesn't work as well...and also, why are old children's movies so disturbing?

I had to edjumacate myself on the reference, but the splendid art drew me right in anyway.

Yay, Robbie!

I would like to point out that it is only 'now legal in Connecticut' for medicinal purposes. We decriminalized small amounts of it last year. ;)

Just bought one for my 29 yr old brother who has allowed
"ten years to get behind him" while
"kicking around in our hometown",
despite all the folks that have tried to
"show him the way".

I am an rebel scum. I started on last page of forum posts so missed everyone discussing Toto. Please disregard my post. I probably did too much LDS in the 60s.

I did the Dark Side of Oz mashup many times in college. Almost as good-- Animals/Animal Farm (the British animated movie).

BTW, the link from the artist bio to the poster sales page isn't working for me. Anybody else?

The movie is about 90 minutes and the album is only 45, which only covers the first half. So... we're supposed to listen to Toto IV during the second half of the film?

The lunatic is on the Grass green..
Do people that never got baked and matched up the music with the movie understand this design?

The URL listed in your author bio for the poster isn't correct. Woot, could you fix the url in rglee's bio to go to the poster? "dark-side-of-oz" in the url, not "dark-side-of-the"

In the meanwhile, everyone go here to buy the poster. Buy 3!

The version I've watched simply loops the Darkside audio. The 2nd half still eerily syncs with the movie.

Oh, also... purchased. :-)

Awesome!! Thanks for this great shirt. I have been waiting for a shirt that really spoke to me, I just hope woot ships to the dark side of the moon, because that is where I'll be!

Second shirt this year, not bad, I am very happy with this one, and out of my almost 100 woot shirts, this one will probably be the ONLY one my friends actually get on the first attempt :D

If I don't see you no more in this world, I betcha on the next one you'll know me! Don't be late!

Fantastic design Robbie!!!

Just wish it wasn't on Anvil....

Oh well.. little can be done aside from sniping the last few AA designs as they show up.

If I can find the cash I might be in for a poster though.

Can someone please explain to me how to tell the difference in the "new" tees that Woot is using from the "old" leftover tees that Woot still sometimes uses? I've always ordered Large t-shirts from Woot, and after a couple of washes, they're the perfect size. I've ordered two shirts recently that are SO large I could put three of me inside one. I hate not knowing what size shirt I should order each time. (I'm actually wanting the Filthy Hippies tee from the Jukebox Heroes series, although this Oz shirt IS awesome). Can anyone help me here?
