I'm excited about Mandala Season! I've been wanting this print for a while. I think I'm going to try it out, even though the sizing for the small says it's going to be too big. Does AA not carry XS in the V necks?

In some colors, they even go down to size XXS.
AA 2456.

Based on the reviews and the size charts, I just cannot order the Anvil shirts, and I hate v-necks. I'm beginning to think there is nothing left for me to buy here.

Many thanks for the print on the tote bag shirtwoot!
In CA, totes are a necessity for grocery shopping, especially when the supermarkets don't give out plastic bags anymore.

Why are there no posters this week!?

The Hunt, Lapwing Sunset, Buried Treasure, and even Aztec Sunset, would make great posters because they are GREAT ART... I'm pretty shocked at the omission of posters with these great ART prints this week.

I also find it amusing that all 3 shirts from the Safari derby are being reprinted in this side sale and only "S is for Safari" is being offered in a different format than a T-shirt...

Thanks to Woot for reprising my dragons. If anything they look better on a v-neck.

I've never seen Jimiyo's New Waves before. Killer linework! It shall be mine.

Kinda bummed that there are no offerings on zip up hoodies. I know it's not the right season for them at the moment, but there are at least 4 of these designs I would of bought(again) on a hoodie, and saved for the nippy weather. Maybe next week.

Can I clarify sizing here please - am I correct that the V-necks are the old AA blanks in men's sizes?

They should be womens, since men don't normally wear v-necks...

Adult Shirts
S M L XL 2XL
Chest Width 18" 20" 22" 24" 26"
Front Length 28 3/4" 29 1/4" 30 3/8" 31 3/8" 32 1/2"

or go check the sizing chart.

Yes, they are essentially the same measurements as the old AA blanks in men's sizes. L and XL are exactly the same measurements, while S is the same chest measurement but 3/8" longer, M is the same chest measurement but 1/8" shorter, and 2XL is the same chest measurement but 1/8" longer [all compared to the old men's AA blanks].

If you're interested in looking at a sizing chart for comparison, Spelling Bee is the only remaining shirt printing on AA in men's sizes; the sizing chart is linked near the bottom of its page.

really? the old men's 2XL were 26" chest, 32.5" length?

You're correct: only the L and XL sizes of the v-neck are identically sized to the old AA men's blanks; S is 3/8" longer, M is 1/8" shorter, and 2XL is 1/8" longer. I'll go edit my post in case 1/8" in length influences someone's decision to buy a v-neck. (Also, in the interest of accuracy.)

FWIW, plenty of men wear v-neck shirts. Regardless of whether you think the v-necks "should" be women's sizes, they're essentially the same sizes as the men's AA blanks.

VERY excited to see v-neck shirts! Yay!

Sadly I'm not that excited about any of the designs on them (I tend to go more for cute/funny/nerdy prints), but I suspect I'll buy one anyway just to encourage more v-neck prints

Ditto. I really wanted some v-necks, dammit!

I know there's a lot going on at woot headquarters, but couldn't you guys have given us a few extra hours on this sale? After all, your email regarding the side sale said: "these shirts will be gone, baby, gone by Sunday, May 27 (11:59 p.m. CST)." (emphasis mine)

I know that the sale usually closes 10 minutes or so before midnight, but that's a little different than shutting it down an entire day early. Those of us who can't/don't keep up with the minutiae of woot business had no way of knowing this would happen. You could have at least put the right day/time in the email.

This has me even more cheesed than the switch from AA to Anvil.. well, not really... I am just aggravated because this little "oversight" COST me an AA shirt. Wasn't sure what my checkbook would look like until the end of the weekend and even set a reminder to come buy the mandala v-neck shirt last night, Sunday night, when it should have still been available. This was kind of the last straw. Unsubscribing from newsletters and doubt I will buy another anything from Woot. Not worth it anymore (ha, my first 'quality post' will be my last).

I bought my son a shirt from this sale on Saturday but was resisting buying any for myself. My resolve failed on Sunday, only to find myself out in the cold. Sadness.

Yup. Went to buy the V-neck Northern Lights on Sunday and couldn't. Sometimes we do have to wait until Sunday to order. Figured Woot would do like some other sites and leave us able to order things while they got the new site going (it can be done simultaneously). I was wavering on the other V-necks too. So no V-neck for me and no sale for the artist. Sad.

And I suggest these side sales should end at the same time as the Reckoning on Monday afternoon.

Aha, I seemed to have missed this information. I guess I have no reason to complain. I was just worried that something abnormal was happening, but since it was planned this way I'm no longer worried
Thanks!

I just got my New Waves shirt. The print looks really quite nice-but it's huge! It looks like it has the men's size print on it. I don't know that I'll actually want to wear it this way.
