We have heard a rumor that the British writing god Salman Rushdie is an
expert at a very specific video game. It does make sense when you think
about it. All alone, hidden away from society, a few years before the
World Wide Web and well before streaming online entertainment, what
else would someone do all day by themselves? No, besides that.
So
it is to you, Sir Rushdie, that we dedicate today’s shirt. Partly
because you survived the controversy. Partly because you’re just so
amazingly good.
But mostly because you did the hardest thing a man can do in life:
master a game without having any hits or cheat codes. For that we
salute you, sir. Well done.
