Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett have decided to call it quits on their educational children's show, Sesame Street, but not for a lack of success. Quite the contrary, the show experienced a huge spike in ratings just this past month, earning Cooney and Morrisett millions in ad revenue. When asked why they made their decision, the duo simply answered that they "cannot take it anymore."
PBS has stated that they will not seek out a new show to fill Sesame Street's spot. Instead, they will use the time slot for reruns of the hit show, Flappy Bird, which now, even in its 44th season, still has viewers around the world wondering, "Will that bird ever get around all those pipes?"
