James Garfield

Jim Davis 2016!

Some interesting facts about the 20th president of the United States:

As a member of the House or Representatives, James Garfield reserved Monday as "a private work day" meaning no meetings, no traveling, and no disturbances. It was later discovered that he spent the day sleeping at his desk.

James Garfield always completed tasks in three steps, except on Sundays, when he would take eight steps (the first one requiring double the effort of the others).

James Garfield never said a single word in his life. He communicated by thinking at people in a monotone voice that they could sometimes hear and sometimes not.

After his first term was cut tragically short by Charles Guiteau, the presidency was given over to a group of wacky farm animals that no one really liked.
