Ya get my vote as thanks for suggesting this awesome derby theme. Or at least being the first to suggest it. Lets hope woot keeps picking the better ones! Oh and I love his "I'm way too cool for the veggie drawer" expression.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ whatever.

applause, applause.

Remarkable how much more expression and character you gave this guy than 'Nessie' and 'The Terror of The Deep' have. Well done.

I never really considered celery a tough veggie. He has some arms. Don't mess with him!

This would really cool with a bloody mary instead of water.

I don't. I consider Adder one of the most objective personas on this entire board, who offers honest critiques of all aspects of submissions. There are many other people who are quick to jump on stuff they don't like, but if Adder is talking trash on your entry, you might reconsider it.

You're wrong. If you read his posts...its his opinions or the highway...there is no leeway there. Look up the word objective. Oh, and look at HIS "art"

Um, the word objective (at least, in what I was stating) means that he doesn't have any alterior motives in his criticism. If you look at his ART, you will probably recognize that he is not sniping on other entries in order to push his own. I think you fail to understand the difference between objective and opinionated. He is DEFINITELY opinionated, and has no problem sharing his OPINIONS, and I appreciate that. If everyone was always soooooo touchy feely about getting critiques of their entries, maybe it would be better if more entries looked like this:

From Websters: (objective)
expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations. He almost always uses personal feelings and interpretations. Yes, he is opinionated, but he is also not objective. Your failure to realize that may lead you to not be objective. As I alluded to before, he does not bend or reconsider with an open mind.

His opinion is just that...his opinion. I just happen to disagree with most of his comments, which are usually negative. I hope you're not telling me you like the rabbit in your post L O L

oh dear... you might want to look at the author of the rabbit you are commenting on.

Wow, a definition in a post, why didn't I think of that.

I ****MADE**** the rabbit in my post, and I do like him, he's cute and cuddly and sweet and all things that this derby needs. All art is subjective, we know that, c'mon, we've been talking about it since ancient times. There WILL ALWAYS be varying opinions on art. What I was trying to state is that he is stating his opinion on art without having any outside motivation. That is as objective as art criticism can be.

Edit: I have no desire to be objective, but thanks for your concern.

Yes, why DIDN'T you think of that. I was simply responding to your interpretation of the word and trying to prove how I interpret "objective". I thought the definition would help....didn't really need the sarcasm though.

I don't dislike your entry...it is certainly not something I would wear, thats all. I would be happy to look at anything else you have. I meant no disrespect about your rabbit. I actually thought you were making good-natured fun of it yourself.

Yes, 2thFairy, I should have looked at the author first...lesson learned. I really thought she was making light of it. It is cute and cuddly, and although I think I am all that, the shirt is not me.

Now that I like. Unlike some of the comments, I actually thought your colors were great. You obviously have a wide range, since this is so different in a lot of ways from the rabbit entry. I like the DVD war connotations as well.

Thank you, Bluchez. I figured it was only a matter of time for Luney to find the derby boards. I'm not entirely sure what I first did to offend his artistic sensibilities, but he doesn't bother me. I'd be persnickety and prone to silly ranting if I needed sleep aides, too.

And for the record, it's not the loungin' celery that I was expressing distaste for. No.1's veggie menagerie amuses me quite a bit. It was the implication that somehow his expression was superior to Jaden's or Fable's entries. I hope No.1 knows I meant no harm to his entry, but if he didn't, he does now.

I was a big fan of this and told others to look it up. I am sorry that person took their vote back...I feel partially responsible because I was sticking up for you and no matter how Adder tries to spin it, he remains a detriment to this site and tries to influence people with his short-sighted psychobabble, as he probably did earlier in this thread. I really wish this entry was at least in the fog...I think its wonderful.....I hope it gets printed at some point.
