This shirt is my homage to the brilliant writing of one of my favorite shows: The Big Bang Theory which sadly I believe fell victim to the writter's strike (RIP: 2007)

That episode happens to be the only one I've seen of that show, but it was hilarious, and the first thing I thought of when I saw your shirt/title.

I liked that show a lot, and as a consequence I will now vote for your shirt.

Big Bang did get picked up for a second season! It's the best show! Sheldon rocks! And even better, new episodes will air later this March until May. WooHoo!
I hope this shirt wins! It's the only shirt I will vote for, and I hope to buy it too!

Never even heard of the show but like the shirt. Now that I know it's from a show, it actually takes a bit away from the coolness of it.

Firstly, if you haven't seen it, make a point of trying to see it... if you thought a tee-shirt based on the doppler effect was interesting/funny then you will love the humor in this show...

Secondly, don't let the inspiration for the shirt taint your opinion of the final product... this is not a rip off of a shirt featured on the show... it is an original shirt that is a wearable version of a joke from the show... (One of the characters wanted to be the doppler effect for halloween and dressed in full body stripes and walked around going: Nyeeooommmm)

It is meant to be reminiscent but different... To invoke the idea while still being totally wearable... Plus you have the added benefit of the occasional person walking by that gets it going: Nyeeooommmm!

It is the first thing I thought of when I heard that the theme was "line art"

Seriously: go check out the show... odds are you'll love it!

quick question. how does this represent the doppler effect? would the waves be compressed on one side and stretched on the other? To me this looks like the reduced intensity of a wave over an area.
