Since "the star spangled banner" was inspired by the flag, wouldn't this devolve into some sort of bizarro time warp of circular logic?

Also, the music for the star spangled banner can't be inspired by the star spangled banner. it IS the star spangled banner. Unless that music isn't the star spangled banner... I can't read it very clearly... but if its not it makes even less sense.

It is the star spangled banner.

What instrument is it for? I haven't seen too many instruments that jump clefs quite like that (and it really doesn't look like piano music) so I'm curious. ^_^

w: 7 | t.w: 1 | h.w: 1 | tg.w: 0 | sp.w: 0 | a.w: 0 | k.w: 0 | s.w: 15 | w.w: 15 | so.w: 2

pretty sure it was piano, it's not the whole song because it wouldn't fit.

It's random clips of the Star Spangled Banner that are in order, but leave out measures randomly and starts in the middle. Also, the first four lines are the dual staves (first staff is the right hand, second is the left hand) while the last three staves are only the right hand.

Please, if you are going to include music notation in designs, at least have some sense of what you are doing.

I agree. It's the right music, but it's all mixed up in the design. Obviously made by a non-musician. It's a fantastic idea, but I think I'd actually be embarrassed to wear this.

Sorry, I'm a musician too and I think that's kinda ridiculous...

I don't think I'd ever stop to proofread the notes on someone's t-shirt or would I ever be embarassed of having a great shirt on just because the music's randomized. No one's playing a concert off my shirt... it's art on clothes...

I love the shirt. Very elegant... very nicely done.

Their what is a terrorist?

Bad grammar aside...I'm sure they would feel this way no matter what the song was. It has nothing to do with patriotism. ::eyeroll::

For what it's worth, I think the design is a neat idea and pretty. I probably would have never noticed it was out of order or whatever, but I have musician friends who might have. l o l

Being a bit nit-picky, aren't we?

I think it's a VERY creative shirt design and a great idea, nicely executed. *Applause*

I personally don't care what others are saying, I still want one if they print it.

He is refering to the screwdriver who first posted. I'm with user 'BigKuntry'. Some people just think waaay too much about these types of things. I'm a cellist and would like it simply because it's a unique image and an interesting take on incorporating music.

I wouldn't mind if the notes were just made up, but it's the fact that a cursory glass makes it obvious that the music is not even set up correctly. Even if the notes were completely random, the whole thing just doesn't make sense. It just looks so...wrong. It's too bad, because I love the design, but the darn music bars are just driving me nuts.
