Sweet shirt idea, love the 80's, but I'm betting Pac-Man might be a copyright infringement. But I could be wrong considering its parody nature.

Shigwarm won with a pac-man parody during halloween. If this gets rejected, woot's got a hell of a double standard.

I don't care if it is American bacon, I'd wear this shirt!

You've got a point there. Does anyone have an image of that Halloween shirt? Did it look exactly like Pac-man? It's hard for my poor, overworked mind to remember something so far back.

it was a pumpkin. So no, not exactly. But really, if someone can copyright 5/6ths of a circle, surely any parody is dangerous ground.
personally, I'd buy every shirt for the next three months if doing so could make "video game parody" the next on the list with "flying penguins"

Ha! That's a funny thought... copyrighting a pie chart. :-)
Somebody with legal experience here should investigate this and prove Pac-man's image is not copyrighted. Then he could be free for everyone to use.

I think he meant for them to be in the "insta-rejection" pile, not used as a derby theme.

I know... I was joking. That's my fault, I punctuate things with smiley faces so often that people can't tell when I'm joking.
Not that I have anything against flying penguins. They're good people... erm... waterfowl.

I thought that the citizens of the internet unanimously agreed that a winking smiley was the universal indicator for sarcasm. ;)

I clearly need to be more sleective in my smiley placement. If the winking smiley is sarcasm, what do we use for a sly, sexxy wink?
Edit: Apparantly the word s-e-x-y (without hyphens) gets replaced with "my pants are too tight?" by the filter. Fancy that.

Some of them make perfect sense to filter on any forum. Others woot has had to filter to get people to stop posting spam. But I have yet to figure out why there is a filter for N-a-z-i. Must be some weird history there.

I wonder why they had to filter that popular item... wouldn't it help promote that item?

You may want to edit your post. People have gotten probation for bypassing the expletive filters.

Hokey smokes... so you're saying that all this talk about pancake shirts has really been about the name of Penn and Teller's show on Showtime? :-)
