Re: Pop N Lock
The hands on the lock are backwards... looks a little odd. was it on purpose?
Re: Pop N Lock
awesome, did they learn their moves from Alfonso Ribeiro's Poppin' n Lockin'? It comes with a fold out dance mat!
Re: Pop N Lock
So amusing to look at!

He is right, if you were to do a handstand, your hand would be the other way.....
andrewlb wrote:He is right, if you were to do a handstand, your hand would be the other way.....
Maybe my own hands are backwards but it looks fine to me.
edit: you are right that the hand in the air seems to be upside down.
andrewlb wrote:He is right, if you were to do a handstand, your hand would be the other way.....
the arms are invisible so you cant see it, but hes doing a super twist 180 double jointed roundabout, pretty simple really.
Re: Pop N Lock
I really like this one. Hope it wins. GMV
Re: Pop N Lock
That's real, real, cute. Probably one of the first shirts that ever made me chuckle out loud upon seeing it.
Re: Pop N Lock
I can't believe it. It's jimiyo.
Did it just get colder down under?
Re: Pop N Lock
this looks great and will make a great shirt. Nice as always.
I don't get it.. at all...

Really?
Pop and Lock is a dance, the words also represent soda and a mechanical device used to secure possessions. Thus, those inanimate objects are doing their namesake dance.
People find it entertaining when inanimate objects dance, that's how Paula Abdul built her career.
Re: Pop N Lock
Funnyyo!

I think you mean MC Skat Kat, but Paula Abdul as an inanimate object dancing is a much more hilarious mental picture ![]()
When I see this, I think of one of my fav songs from the 1980s breakdance era...
Newcleus - Jam On It
awesome design...if you can change the hands of the lock before the shirt is made, it would be even better...
Re: Pop N Lock
funny, jimmi! : )

well, heck that's helped me get it too! although, I got the hand thing right away, didn't think it was backwards . . . looked normal.
Re: Pop N Lock
Welcome back jimi! I really <3 this design... the art looks like it came straight out of Betty Boop (Minnie the Moocher especially comes to mind). GMV, obviyo.
Re: Pop N Lock
Criminal that this isn't fogged.

Give it time. Derby's only seven hours old, after all.

Well, it started out fogged, but the super turtle kicked it out. Here's hoping it gets back in...
Re: Pop N Lock
Excellent design, hilarious! The only problem is that you'll probably get people constantly asking you what the shirt is about, but that's the problem with all clever shirts unfortunately. Anyway, good job!
Re: Pop N Lock
youve got good taste in music yo

depends on where you live. If your in say, WV then Id say you are correct. Here near Orlando no such problem.
twincarma wrote:youve got good taste in music yo
More dance than music. You can pop and lock to whatever you want. Might not fit, though you never know.
Re: Pop N Lock
yeah, the lock hands kinda make it weird...but still gmv
Re: Pop N Lock
this is also such a well-designed and hilarious shirt. very fogworthy. shame it won't make it. But great work Jimi!
Re: Pop N Lock
this looks a lot like something that would sell really well at threadless
