Awesome style!
Re: Nobodys' child
badass design, great colors. I'd definitely wear this
Re: Nobodys' child
Nicely drawn, and clever (albeit weird.. but hey, I like weird ;-)
Re: Nobodys' child
no way, radiomode on shirt woot! we're all in trouble now ![]()
Re: Nobodys' child
It's a timer, right? XP
I thought of eggs as well...
Re: Nobodys' child
Judging by the past responses, I take it you must be a contributor to other sites as well. Mind throwing up a link to some of your stuff? If this shirt is indicative of your style, I'm going to buy the hell out of your stuff.
Vote for this shirt people. It builds character.

Excellent! My children and I got a great laugh over this image!
Re: Nobodys' child
I've seen this before.....
I still like it.
nlitwiller wrote:this has got my vote but I think I might like it better w/o the timer on the egg.
either way i'll buy it if it's printed
That's sort of the point. Have you never seen an egg timer?

B--E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.
And funny to boot.

For those who have asked, radiomode is one of those shirt tycoons you might hear about. He's been printed multiple times at Threadless and Design By Humans (and if I wasn't lazy I'm sure I could find more) but I personally associate his work most with Uneetee, where I believe he's been printed most.
He's actually been 'round these parts before, at least in the Night derby, where he submit one of my personal favorites of the week... a modified version is for sale over at uneetee. I personally like the starkness of the original better, but the uneetee rendition will, at some point, be my first purchase from that site.
Anyway, welcome back, Radio. Hopefully my support won't stifle this design's success... it's my early favorite

Super. Thanks for the links Adder.
I'm crossing my fingers that this thing catches a bit more momentum...
I hear chicks dig guys that vote for this shirt.
Re: Nobodys' child
very cool, and just twisted enough. the design reminds me of something, but I can't think of what it is.
Re: Nobodys' child
Thank you for the votes!
I am supprised that somebody actually remember about that derby entry since it did not do very good here.

At Woot, talent is always recognized... in forums and posts. Rarely in votes. But you got mine.
Re: Nobodys' child
damn! what cool characters! i really dig this : )

wow-- thanks for posting the link to Design By Humans-- that's a great site and Harvest by radiomode is a lovely shirt.

This one is by Radiomode too. (I voted for this one on DBH, so I was very happy to see it win! Congratulations BTW!)
Re: Nobodys' child
Love the egg timer instead of an actual egg. It's that little dab of humor that makes the whole shirt. This is soooo cute.
Re: Nobodys' child
Very nice! My teenagers already have a design of yours and love it http://www.uneetee.com/category/productInfo.asp?idx=115 . This one, though, would be for the grownups of the house.
Re: Nobodys' child
This is the best design I've seen on here in while. There are a lot of clever designs out there, but this is one of the few I'd really like to wear on a shirt!!! Hope you make it to the top!!
Re: Nobodys' child
So far this is the only one I would wear. Great job!
Re: Nobodys' child
This is obviously where robot chickens come from.
This is my favorite shirt so far, I love how the golden color goes with the black t-shirt. That is a great color choice.
Re: Nobodys' child
Wow! thanks for the support.
Winning would be magical...
Re: Nobodys' child
I really like the style, and I think the egg timer is pretty funny. It stands out among all the other entries for sure. Good job!
Re: Nobodys' child
love it! colors are awesome, the design very different and unique! gmv AND purchase if it wins
interesting concept, and nicely drawn.
Re: Nobodys' child
This is probably my favorite. Awesome art style.
yep, what they said, i like
Re: Nobodys' child
Radiomode has mad skills. However, keep in mind that I voted for this design, which means that it probably won't finish in the top 3. I don't vote for kitties and penguins and tripe.
ruthsdad wrote:I don't vote for kitties and penguins and tripe.
Who posted a shirt with cow stomach on it? :-)
(Yes... I'm kidding. I know what sense of the word you meant. :-)
Re: Nobodys' child
This one really is awesome. If I attempted a style like this it'll end up all messy and jumbled and some horrific yellow that no one would want to wear. I would definitely buy this if given the chance.
Re: Nobodys' child
Go, man, go - to the fog!
Re: Nobodys' child
YES! In the fog! Love the monocle.

Re: Nobodys' child
There's something about this that makes me really like it...i just dont know what it is...
Re: Nobodys' child
I would have loved to see this one on the purple with gold foil, but I think it is still cool. Great job.
Yay! now in the top 4
I must thank everyone for this...
Re: Nobodys' child
This is a black shirt?
Re: Nobodys' child
I really liked this from the first day it went up. So glad to see it finally reached the fog. Hope it stays.
Re: Nobodys' child
Vunderbar!
Re: Nobodys' child
Congratulations on making the fog! This is one of my favorites this derby! I said no more black shirts for me....but I'm going to have to make an exception. Love the whole look and the witty humor!

I like it?

It reminded me immediately of Dr. Doolittle (the REAL one or even the book maybe). I'm not clear why though, maybe one of the editions of the book has similar lines in the drawings?? I love it though, that's for sure.

Yeah, that's throwing me off too... what color shirt IS this supposed to be on? Looks too dark/chocolate to be Woot's brown, but it certainly doesn't look black, nor do I think it'd be as strong a design on black. Could this get cleared up?
On a complete tangent - albeit a related one - how overdue are some fresh shirt colors around here??? AA offers a zillion, you think woot could mix it up, no?
Webfoot08 wrote:Love the egg timer instead of an actual egg. It's that little dab of humor that makes the whole shirt. This is soooo cute.
Agreed.

It is on black, but it will also work on other dark colored tee, like these:
Re: Nobodys' child
Too sloppy for me. I'm actually pretty surprised this made it to the top but congrats.
radiomode wrote:It is on black, but it will also work on other dark colored tee, like these:
I really like the navy shirt. Second vote would be black. I think the brown takes away from the color of your characters.
LOVE this shirt, btw.

Indeed. I think Navy looks the best.

Maybe I just drank too much Crown Royal when I was younger, but I just loved the idea of gold foil on purple.

Then there's people like myself whose high school colours were purple and "gold" (yellow) -- so now purple and gold are a negative Pavlovian response. *shudder* so glad it's been almost (in 3 years) 10 years since high school.

Hahahaha!!
Re: Nobodys' child
It looks good in the picture on the person, but in the other pictures the birds don't contrast as well against the background. Which background will be on the shirt?
africadoug wrote:It looks good in the picture on the person, but in the other pictures the birds don't contrast as well against the background. Which background will be on the shirt?
Black. Like it's shown in the main picture. Woot takes the shirts as presented. Radiomode just wanted to present other options that would work.
Yes, suppose to be on perfect black
Like the one on the middle:
