I agree. I breast fed both of my kids and do not think that breast feeding is offensive. I think this is the cutest shirt in this derby. Woot needs to look at the fact that breast feeding is a natural thing and not an offensive thing. I hope that they have rooms for their breast feeding mothers to go to while they are at work. I am very upset with the person that rejected this design, it perpetuates the stigma against breast feeding mothers.
I NEVER comment on these shirts but I had to sign in to post about this one. What is offensive is the fact that this shirt was rejected. Some of the garbage that gets through.. but oh no, better not talk about breastfeeding. I am very angry now, woot. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to go sit in the middle of the food court at the mall & nurse my baby.
Re: Feeding
I don't think it was rejected because it depicts breastfeeding.. but rather HOW it depicts it. woot tends to reject things that line up intentionally with a woman's breasts.. go back and look at many past rejectees.. from the pasties last derby, to the 2 nuclear reactors a few derbies ago.. if it was just a portrait of a mother breast feeding, I doubt there would be an issue.. many of the shirts offered have designs that could be said to represent that sort of bond. this one just hits too many weird buttons, I think. heck, when i first saw it, I felt like the kid was being tortured.. it's just hanging in space, desperately trying to feed.

While I completely agree that breastfeeding isn't offensive, I am not sure that the Rejectionator rejected because of the cute baby breastfeeding. I think they rejected for the nipple without a baby.
If someone used a creme shirt, and put a baby on one side and then did something so it looked like the other side was covered (a spit-up towel over the shoulder? looking like the shirt is scrunched around the baby? a second baby?), I don't think it would be rejected.
But I could be just being optimistic, as i have breastfed 3 kids and only had a couple negative comments in all that time.
Re: Feeding
WOOT, this shirt is NOT offensive. Please, reconsider. I would buy one.
Re: Feeding
Take out the other nipple and resub. Maybe that's the offensive part. Give it a shot and see what they say. I so want this shirt. ![]()

Yeah, I think Woot counts anything that indicates nipples as obscene. It might be the nipple shadow that did it, or the baby attached to the other nipple. Woot's just not into nipple "decorations". Heck... they even rejected a hand waving back and forth in the nipple area (back in the motion derby).
I'm assuming nursing itself is not considered obscene by Woot because it looks like at least one other entry here has a woman nursing a baby... It's very subtle, though, and not directly obvious. So they're not trying to say breastfeeding is bad, they just don't want obvious "playing with the girls" on the shirts they sell.
That's how it seems to me, anyway.
