Thank you
Re: Elephabetq
I trust that you have all the letters, but for the sake of not getting rejected (and my sanity, which is not actually related to rejections, llo) could you post the letters like daedalusknight did with the dragon entry? Pretty please? With sugar on top? ^_^
Re: Elephabetq
I like this, very cheery and summer-y. The tone on tone is really nice.

Okay, I'm new at this. I am unclear if you want me to resubmit with the alphabet separated or if posting it here is what you are after.

I think that's exactly what she wanted - no need to resubmit, Superspryte just wanted to see the letters so they can be found in the design. Nice design btw, it's a new sort of elephant.
Re: Elephabetq
Clever and well done.
Re: Elephabetq
I said I needed a yellow shirt and I need an elephant shirt too so this is perfect. I didn't think I was gonna like this derby but i would have to buy this one.
Re: Elephabetq
John McCain wants this in red...nice execution.
Where's the N?
Re: Elephabetq
The more I look at this, the more I like it. Nice job!
Re: Elephabetq
that's awesome, very subtle!
srglancey wrote:Okay, I'm new at this. I am unclear if you want me to resubmit with the alphabet separated or if posting it here is what you are after.
No, that's exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks! It also helps you because we (and the Rejectabot) can see the different letters.
Thanks, again! ^_^

the outer edge of the front most leg
Re: Elephabetq
I love it! My favorite animal and a beautiful design. I love the yellow on yellow.

I think we should all just make a game of trying to find them all. But this is a great design and much more wearable since it's not just a bunch of letters hanging around a shirt.
Wow--this is pretty much amazing. (The elephant)
sometrouble wrote:I love it! My favorite animal and a beautiful design. I love the yellow on yellow.
Elephants are my daughter's favorite animal, too. But she loves pink. I thought a pink elephant would be too cliche.
Side note: Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts and compliments!
sometrouble wrote:I love it! My favorite animal and a beautiful design. I love the yellow on yellow.
Actually, myone concern is the lack of contrast. I personally would have preferred brighter colors, but that's moot. I do not believe this will show up well when printed.
Re: Elephabetq
It seems like any kind of creature made up of the alphabet is getting votes. I like this design the best, but the colors are throwing me off. GMV if the color changes.

I like it! It's a nice change from the same colored shirts that are usually printed.
Will the yellow print on yellow come out well? Maybe you should change the print color? To something darker? an orange perhaps? Just a suggestion.
Great shirt!
Re: Elephabetq
i think this shirt is really neat! i just wish it wasn't yellow, it doesn't go to well with my complexion, and I also agree that it might not print to well
Re: Elephabetq
This is excellent. I hope it wins. My wallet, however, does not. :]

I have at least three yellow on yellow shirts and they all look fantastic. This design is wicked sweet!
I think this is a ridiculously amazing shirt, but I wish it was on another color! grr. I know everyone has different opinions but perhaps if enough people favor a color change it will boost points? Mostly I'm just selfish cause I really want one but yellow isn't my color *giggles*. Anyway great job, so creative
Re: Elephabetq
Ok so this shirt is totally cool, great thought!! And very creative of course I am alittle particial. Love the elephant especially in an election year

There are at least 5 letters here that are AMAZING stretches. (see especially: half-a-Q)
AdderXYU wrote:There are at least 5 letters here that are AMAZING stretches. (see especially: half-a-Q)
I disagree. Check out http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=14098 -- basically that half-a-Q could be cursive.

I don't know. It doesn't look like a cursive Q to me. Then again, I hate cursive and am not very good at it. =P

I don't think it's cursive. But I would say that looking at it in context (as the elephant's left eye) rather than in the breakdown, my brain fills in the rest of the Q. And I believe there are other entries where parts of letters are obscured, but you can still clearly tell what letters they are (or are meant to be).
A VERY creative entry!

Ah, good point. You're right. The Q is completed by the side of the elephant's head.
This is awesome! I love the fact that the whole entire elephant is made of letters.
midorichi wrote:This is awesome! I love the fact that the whole entire elephant is made of letters.
actually only parts of the elephant are made of letters :-p
Re: Elephabetq
I love the elephant, but wish the shirt was a different color. Any chance of resubmitting with a higher-contrast shirt color?
Re: Elephabetq
Fantastic design
I LOVE the YELLOW! don't change it!!
in for one!
Re: Elephabetq
A grossly colored shirt with a strangely posed elephant made up of letters of which only a few are clearly visible. It's success can only be explained by mass hysteria or possibly that the letters form some word that works upon the subconcious, creating in the viewer the need to vote despite the nature of the design. This is Jerry's final thought.
That is one fine pachyderm, and good work braving the dangers of lemony apparel.

My first thought was that I agree with what you have said. Your closing remark, however, is weird. Kind of reminds me of Mike Honcho.
Re: Elephabetq
I was in agreement with all the letters except the X. I think you couldve done better with that particular letter.
Otherwise very nice job, cant even tell its supposed to be about letters
I'm sorry, I don't have anything particularly against this shirt, except that I don't get what's so great about just an elephant on a shirt, & this yellow shirt is keeping Edgar's yellow shirt out of the fog (or at least I blame it for such). I don't get it.
Re: Elephabetq
Pretty nice and simple design. Good luck!
Re: Elephabetq
I really hope this wins! My sister's bday is coming up and she loves elephants
cute design!
Re: Elephabetq
Has this color combo been done before? I am concerned that the fine lines may not show up.
This is the best design in this derby IMO. Love the simplistic look mixed with the design's creativity and technical difficulty. The letters are so subtle they're almost hidden. Plus the yellow on yellow looks awesome!

Gee, look, a singularly unhelpful comment from yet another person who has never purchased from Woot!. Surprise, surprise.
I find this design to be very amusing as well as a clever use of the theme.

ditto: nothing against this shirt or elephants, but i hate edgar being in 5th when i was really hoping to buy his lemon shirt : (

I agree! I love how it looks simple, but it still uses the theme really well. I'm seriously impressed with this!
Re: Elephabetq
I don't know what it is... but, I can't stop looking at this shirt. Well done! Well done!
Re: Elephabetq
Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments and votes.
Re: Elephabetq
i'm so in for one of these. it's gotta hit the top three
