Brush-on pixel design. Overlapping colors are shown as well. Fun design on black so that the colors POP!

This would be amazing if the paint lines were longer and it was placed on one side of the shirt

Thanks for the comment. I actually did two of these designs. This is the smaller of the two designs. I thought about even going more skinny and long on the paint strokes, but was having trouble with the overlapping layers, the 6 color requirement and the 0.25 inch pixel requirement. The smaller the paintbrush, the larger the pixel squares appear and it was hard to show the 'scattering of paint' or the paint residue on the brushes. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks again for your comment and vote!

I love it. I feel like for these pixelated shirts to be successful shirts (read: wearable) the idea that they are pixelated for a reason has to come into play for the viewer, as it does with this shirt. Great job... should be a popular shirt with the graphic designers around here.

Greatest song ever written about JFK here. NSFW... or children... or anyone who's offended by the idea that JFK might have been a robot... fair warning.

Hey Flashman! Just saw this post. Thanks for the comment. I thought the paintbrushes would be a fun design given the pixel art theme. I would have preferred to have slightly smaller brushstrokes, but with the 1/4 inch square requirement it was hard to make it smaller and still create the 'drip marks' and paint residue on the brushes.

Sorry your Marilyn was rejected. You did a great job with that one. But, Woot is pretty consistent about rejecting celebrity likenesses. Still....the design was really well done. Did it take a long time to color pixel by pixel?

Thanks Silver! It was tough to do the overlapping colors and stick with only the 6 colors. I would have liked to do more...but needed more layering hues.

BTW Silver ... your 'vote here' link isn't working properly. Looks like you have an extra "/" at the very end of the link. You'll want to edit this. Also, you might want to add your voting information to your signature. Then you don't have to add the information to each post. You can do this easily by going to "Your Account" on the upper right of your shirt.woot page. Enter the voting information into your woot signature and then you can modify it each derby. It'll be a lot easier for you.

Hope that useful. Love the contrast of colors on the black shirt in your design. From the thumbnail, it looks like a piece of fruit dropping into water. Great motion.

Thanks Robert! I appreciate the bestloser award. Thanks to Fable(?) for the nomination.

Still holding out a bit of hope for the W(right) angle one. Hoping for a boost over the next 23 hours! Too hard to watch! So, I'll only peek back later.

Thanks again for the BLA!
