Re: Plumeria Paradise
This design is inspired by Hawaiian tribal tattoos, and is a dark olive print on a grass-colored shirt. All hand drawn in Inkscape. Enjoy!

Fat Unicorn is printed on grass so the shirt color should be fine.
Very cool design. It does look like a tattoo. The shapes are really sharp and perfectly done. Nice job!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
I love it! I hope this wins cause I want to buy one!!!!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
LOVE this design, gmv!
Re: Plumeria Paradise

Wow, I was out for a couple of hours and came back to a nice surprise--I can't believe how many votes I've received so far!
And thanks for all of the great comments; I really appreciate them!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
Plumeria is my favorite Hawaiian flower! So glad someone used it in a design. Definitely gets my vote. =)
Re: Plumeria Paradise
This is just about the finest piece of work I've ever seen! Very clean and interesting. Great job!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
I really like what you have done here. Very simplistic while at the same time illustrating a lot. perfect.
Re: Plumeria Paradise
OpenDesign, great work. GMV. I was similarly inspired by Maori tattoos (although my execution doesn't compare to yours). This really is beautiful. Best of luck.

I have been using inkscape a lot myself. It is a pain to get things out of it and into photoshop but I like the program itself.

Yeah, I use Inkscape all the time. I downloaded the pre-release version of 0.47 to create this, and it has a few features that make the workflow a lot faster.
Thanks to everyone for the votes and the feedback!

Re: Plumeria Paradise
Reminds me of money, which is what you'll be making if my prediction about where this ends up comes true.
Re: Plumeria Paradise
I love this.
Re: Plumeria Paradise
Voting for this cause it's pretty. And no one makes green shirts!!!!!!
Love this design -- so clean and simple, yet displaying theme so well! I hope I can buy one!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
This design is so simple yet so amazing. Woot should print more stuff like this. Awesome work OpenDesign, I think you have reminded us what truly makes a solid shirt. This is it. I wouldn't be surprised if you stay on top of the reckoning list for a long time - this is assuming you will get printed. which you will.
Re: Plumeria Paradise
Thanks to everyone for all of the votes!!!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
I quite like the simplicity in this design and how the different elements (flower, water, sun, bird) all meld together into one coherent piece. However, it does remind me a great deal of Thrive from the Green derby.
Re: Plumeria Paradise
Pretty cool... has kind of a dollar-billsy look to it. :-)
Re: Plumeria Paradise
Keep up the good work! I'm happy to see this is in third place... I hope it stays there (or moves higher of course!) because I want to buy one!!!
Re: Plumeria Paradise
Great design. GMV
Re: Plumeria Paradise
congrats on staying in the fog for over 2 days straight! I hope it gets printed!!!
