I would appreciate any comments about this design, this is an attempt to look less "scary"
I was trying to show the panda eating the bamboo hut, so this time I used bite marks... an improvment?
Also changed some other things (tree, flower...)
Thanks

Not really sure what Pandas have to do with Luaus.

Re: PandaSnacksNoTeeth

I remember how hard it was when I started, so here are some of my thoughts, please take them as my opinions only and if you don't think any of this is useful for your art/style I completely understand.
Removing the teeth helped.
I think the arms/legs are too long. Pandas tend to be so fuzzy and I thinkthe arms/legs are too thin (not fuzzy enough) and too long
Not sure if you are going for. Is this supposed to be cartoony or realistic? If cartoony I'd exaggerate the proportions and make him rolly-polly maybe on the ground on his back looking over-stuffed. If it's more realistic I just really look at photos of pandas and even renderings other people did to make it easier to understand what makes a panda a panda. (personally it's easier for me to do cartoony than realistic because I can bend the rules on occasion).
Your trees came out nicely and I like the shape of the island. The detail of the waves hasn't gone unnoticed . Maybe there's just too much to tackle in this submission. Perhaps try just an island scene and take the panda and place him in another design where he truly is the focus.
Hope this helps.

Re to sokowa:
Thank you for taking the time to pass on some advice. I really appreciate it, especially from a designer such as yourself. I think your comments point out some things about this design in particular, and will help me on future submissions. That is exactly what I wanted and makes it more of a learning experience than a failure. Thank You.

awesome. The number of wins I have in relation to the amount of drawings I've submitted over the months is pretty darn low. I use most weeks to push myself and try new things and learn new things. So that's always a positive to this whole derby. I see you have the same mindset, keep it up.
