thanks Chris! i appreciate the votes (here and on DBH). i'd really like to see the one on DBH win, not so much for the money but because i put a lot of work into that one and i'm really proud of the results.

thanks blammoed! i felt they were appropriate for the comic panel echoing Roy Lichtenstein's work but didn't want to overuse them.

Beautiful work! As soon as I saw the title, I knew it was an Ellison reference - I haven't read him in m any many years. Unfortunately he creeps me out. But this design is kinda creepy - which I assume was the intent! - so it is very fitting

thanks Sydney! does Harlan creep you out as a person or with his writing? because he can be a creepy guy (from what i've read about him). did you know he actually sued the makers of Terminator for copyright infringement? they had to add an acknowledgment to his works at the end of the movie. i haven't read anything by him since high school but A Boy and His Dog is still one of my favorite stories.

I think this is my favorite of this derby. I love the detail on it, and the eraser shavings are perfectly executed. None of the ones I like are even close to winning though Great job you did on this.
