That's hilarious. And the title using the Woot filter replacement, to boot. I smell controversy!

As a comfortably heterosexual man, I would definitely be comfortable wearing this shirt in public... no really. ^_^

this shirt begs the Question " hi sir would you like to ask me out"
or " i don'T know what woot is, but if you give me 5 minutes I can show you!

Thank you! My best friend and boyfriend both want it badly, too, but I think we've got some hard hitters in this derby. Here's hoping.

Wow, thanks for all the positive response! I've never broken 100 votes this early in the derby. (It's only my 3rd time even breaking 100.) Rock on. :D

Told my gf I'd buy this for her if it won. First time I'm voting for something I wouldn't wear simply cause it'd be friggen hilarious if it won.

You mean red, yellow, and blue, the primary colors? Perhaps if I had used red, green, and blue (the primary colors of light), it would be more sensible to you?

@rglee and lhymes: Thanks for the support! I think it would be epic if woot printed something like this even if my design isn't the one (although I wouldn't mind).

I've had my most woot shirt sightings in a pleasantly upbeat community where I live.

I dont feel like getting in to a discussion about the loaded nature of the design, but, when was the last time anyone saw a three color rainbow?

You killed ROYGBIV....

I'm sad now. Your shirt has not had the intended affect.

When was the last time anyone saw a zombie? Or an anthropomorphic foodstuff?

I'm sorry that I made you sad, but if I had used all the colors of the spectrum plus a color for the clouds, I would have 8 inks, 7 if I was creative and used the shirt color, which is one too many. It's a simple design, and thus, I chose to keep the color palette simple as well so as to maintain aesthetic coherence.

Im sorry, you're right. Fictitious things like zombies, and anthropomorphous edibles aside. I meant no disrespect. I think that it would be hilarious if this got printed. I wouldn't ware it personaly just because in my neighborhood there would only be two possible outcomes: one painful, the other embarrassing... and quite probably also very painful.

And yes i understand that the full spectrum of colors would have violated the color restrictions of the site, but i still think that you could have fudged it.

Anyway, good luck to you in this and future derbies!

woot has printed some where that they would do a 7 color print , if it was good enough. don't you think this qualifies?

Regardless of whether or not this qualifies, they don't do printing exceptions for derby entries. The six-color limit is the most strictly enforced rule of the whole derby, and I am not even going to attempt to challenge it. Besides, three-color rainbows are quite common in illustration, and I prefer the simplicity that the three colors offer. I'm also quite partial to the pink outline of the clouds, which wouldn't be possible with all the colors of the rainbow.

Extremely well executed. I love this design! GMV and in for three if it makes the cut! (I'll keep my fingers crossed that the votes come in exponentially)

Thanks! I would have to triple in votes for this to get printed, but hey, stranger things have happened.

To everyone, thanks for the support! I never expected this to do well (or even make it past the rejectomatron), but it is officially my most successful shirt so far.

Maybe we'll see it in a double-take. Hell, I'd wear it, and I'm not even gay. I am, however, pleasantly upbeat!
