Draxxx. You provide nice detailed designs week after week. I am earnestly concerned that you don't understand the printing capabilities of shirt.woot. I cannot imagine how all of the detail will come close to showing up in an actual print. In general, woot has said they can print details up to a 1pt line. This equates to just over 4 pixels at 300 dpi. This includes area of shirt color or other colors that you wish to show through, because if those areas are not wide enough, the whole thing turns into a blob. The fine detail zooms that you show us really makes me think that your lines are way smaller, but I could be wrong, obviously.

The problem is, when designs that aren't printable wins, the designer gets paid but woot and the customers get screwed (refunds and wasted money). This certainly goes against the community spirit of the derby.

I am not trying to knock your talents, as you are obviously talented, but be careful with details, or they will do more harm than good.

Thanks for the heads up bluchez. Though I've yet to get printed, I can tell you that I work at 300 dpi with nothing smaller than a 4 pt brush.

Awesome design! I had a similar idea, and after seeing yours, I know I'd do best to let it go... no way I can beat this! I love it and hope it goes all the way up, good luck!

I do hope that Blu is wrong and that this will print just fine. Is there a way to actually ASK the powere that be at Woot?
