Noah's Ark with a single line How many animals can you see? I swear if you look at this for long enough you'll start imagining ones that aren't there though, so be careful - If you find all the animals, you get a prize :P

well, thats your opinion bud, many of us do believe it happened, and do believe the bible is 100% true.

and question, what color shirt it on?

Then you're a complete and utter moron.

If you seriously believe that an old man built an ark, loaded it with two of every animal, and survived a flood, then you're an absolute fool. I know that comes across as insulting, but fool fool fool ...

Do you also believe a man lived inside a whale?

This is a really great design. I love the use of tight fitting lines combined with the open, flowing lines. It really gives more of a dimension to your piece, as well as creating visual space between the animals.

Regardless of your opinion with regard to the Bible (I actually agree with you more or less), there was no reason to start off as you did, and then act like an even bigger jerk. Please don't fish for religious arguments in a thread about a SHIRT!

I love this shirt. No matter what others think, I think it is great and would sell well. It would look great on kids' shirts. And if it doesn't get a print here, I'll bet RedisWhite would talk it.

I'm actually writing this from inside a whale at the moment. The blubber interferes with my wireless signal a bit, but otherwise, it's not a bad place... it's nice and warm in here, and there's easy access to all the sushi I could ever want, right outside my front door.

Nice shirt, and I'd love to wear it around the whale. Got my +1 for sure.

When an intricate, detailed and complex design is entered, the masses say it's too busy. They say it'd make a good print but not a shirt. They call it cluttered or ugly.

When a boring, cluttered design is entered, they praise the artistry.

How is the alligator the only animal on there and the rest are imaginary? ... Perhaps it's too late in the night, but I'm seeing tons. (or if you want to go for the literal sort of way. I'm seeing none because you're not supergluing a real elephant to the shirt)

I was just kidding about that, last time I counted I found around 28 animals (plus the ones that are in the back, of course), but the number changes every time, I swear- how many do you see?

for some reason, every silly controversy i feel the need to add my two cents..

i was disappointed it was a noah shirt at first. but then i saw how detailed and beautiful it was. I know Ramby is a nice person who works hard on their subs. EVERY week. Can you say the same for your self?

some people are religious, some arent, imo no one has the right to push either. so if you like it, i say vote. if you dont, there's still an x at the top of your screen.

Greatness.
I'm pretty sure I saw a Luffa in there and a lump of jagged bananas
in this piece, but I don't care. I'm willing to look past my fear of
jagged bananas and European scrubbing methods by voting for it.

BTW, this shirt totally backs up my "Dino's and Unicorns: Gods Rough Drafts" theory

I have no problem if you're religious, I have alot of religious friends, but they're not foolish enough to sit here and tell me that they believe a grown man once lived inside a whale, or that an old guy built an ark that held two of every animal and survived a flood.

I have no respect for the "religious beliefs" of someone who legitimately thinks those things happened, that kind of thought is nothing but foolish and whomever believes such things are morons whose opinions should never be taken seriously.

I don't know, there are a lot of people alive today, like 6 billion, man... and it would only take one living inside a whale at some point, and you'd be totally wrong... I guess I'm an optimist! :sarcasm:

Good design on the shirt, I would be down for two if this could get back into the fog!

Holy God this is an awesome shirt.... likely the only one out of this derby I'd buy. VERY creative, and I'm amazed that you were able to do this with only ONE line. I'm with the other comment that gives you props for the fish at the bottom. NICE!

Re: Noah's Ark

The concept for this shirt is fine, but IMO the line work is really sub-par. There is so much you could have done to actually create space in this design with lines instead of creating "clutter" as Adder says.

I wish you'd spend more time in each derby on one design, instead of outputting three quick ones. But that's just my personal opinion I guess. I imagine I hold very different (in my opinion higher) standards in shirts than the average Woot go-er though. (At least judging by that broccoli design that was printed by god knows who...)

I'm not sure what makes you think that I don't spend time on my designs as a general statement, while this one and the phoenix may not have taken as much time as other entries I haVe done, my tiger entry this week took me (and my partner on the design) many many hours to put together, and some of the designs I've entered in previous derbies (such as my one fish two fish design) also took considerable time. I am not always successful with my designs, but have been lucky to have people that like them, but the fact that I sometimes enter more than one image doesn't mean that I don't spend time on each one. On the other hand, though, a lot of time is obviously relative so this could be a meaningless comment depending on what your standards are

I can see what you mean about the line work potentially being sub-par on this design, but it doesn't really have a chance of going to print anyway so I don't think it's a major issue

Ramy, I love this and voted. It is my favorite so far and my family loves Gen 6-9. I would by two for my kids and one for myself, and maybe even create another account and buy more. I would really like to see it printed. If not this derby, then I'll hope for an EC or an HM for another chance in the next Double-Take. Good luck

Indeed. There has been little to no actual response to the issue on the part of woot. This probably won't make us get one, but it is hardly an issue worth just letting go, even as purely a consumer.

Seeing as you output three different designs in the time between the release of the derby topic on Thursday and sometime on Friday (granted they didn't all go up at the earliest possible time), I would definitely call them "underworked". But maybe that's just me.
