Way better in my opinion... it feels like the design is happier.

Well, it's still only Saturday. I'm still waiting for that white knight upon his fiery steed. And also someone who recognizes that 80's song quote

Sadly, I am wearing blue and my steed is in need of an oil change... don't ask me how they do that. I scarcely want to know. Keep holding out though...

Very cool idea using the line concentration to make it glow.

I agree. That's incredible.

Every time the bag of craps comes up, I seem to be doing something else. My box of chorizo's. 12/25/08

Yeah, this version is much more attractive... the yellow on black is more visible. GMV!

Love this. Something about the lines in certain clusters of the lightbulb make it look sort of like a brain; I really like the effect. Colors on this resub are fantastic. The previous version, I dunno, for some reason the moths looked like butterflies.

You got my vote, Boots. I'm rootin for you and artulo to get in the fog!

Not to be a rebel, but I actually like the other one better. I guess mostly it's because the grey would look better on me. But also it's because, since it's inverted, the other one looks like it has shading with shadows and stuff, and I like that. It's a good design though. It almost looks like velvet.

Both versions of this are sweet and look great. I don't see any mistakes! Perhaps some artifacting in the image? GMV.

Different week, different design, still same yearning for another BootsBoots design to wear upon my boobsboobs.

As usual, very nice work, Boots.

I can't believe this isn't even close to being in the fog--it's just beautiful. woot should seriously start printing one editor's choice from every derby. We might not get every design we want printed, but at least there'd be one fewer great design passed over for lack of votes every week.

I totally agree. Stuff like this totally deserves to be printed, yet is often so far from the fog.
Heck at least it'd be alot better then some of those crappy dailies (Terrible Mistake anyone?).
