Re: DNA Baby

That is much cooler than I expected from the thumbnail. Got my vote.

Re: DNA Baby

I don't really like how the DNA seems to stop at a solid line. Maybe it would have been better if it faded into the background or something. But still...It's a cool design.

I like this design. The only part I have a problem with is at the very end of the strand. It just ends. Maybe using a halftone method, you could have it fade out. Just an idea. Either way I still like it. GMV!

I actually was thinking about doing that... unfortunately I have yet to learn how to do a halftone correctly! Once I learn though, I'm sure I'll use them (when necessary).

Thanks for all the super comments/suggestions! I'll consider these things for future designs

if you got the right number of base pairs per turn, it would be great. a little more research before you do a dna shirt and you've got it made.

I really like the colors in this shirt. Everything really looks good and works well for the design. And I don't think the abrupt ending of the strand looks bad in my opinion

You can ride with me, or you can find your own path. Don't stab me in the back after I've cleared the way.

weeeelllll...It depends on a lot of things, doesn't it? for example, the usual statement is 10 base pairs per turn, but that is the crystalline structure, right? Here we don't have a bunch of dna helices lined up, packed tightly together as it would be in a sperm, but rather what appears to be in solution, it wouldn't be the same. Whether it could twist tighter is the question, as this appears to have about 11 base pairs per turn.

Re: DNA Baby

I'd like it better if the loose end curved around a little more or something. I don't know. It just bugs me for some reason. Anyways you've got my vote.
