I will be a sad guanaco if this doesn't print. And no one likes a sad guanaco.

I've actually had dreams about this print since it was first posted. Weird? Yes. Still want the shirt? YES!

Just remember, people, a vote for BootsBoots is a vote for America. Let's get patriotic!

(yeah, I got nothin'...just vote for the shirt!)

Oof. I want this to print so badly that it makes my tummy hurt. Or maybe that's from all the Reese's Peanut Butter hearts I just ate for lunch. Either way, I really want this. Like really, really. Yep.

See, this style I adore. -So- happy to see it fogging up the place.

Crossing my fingers, toes, eyelashes, etc. that it prints. I'm going to Disneyworld in 3 weeks, and for some reason, I really REALLY want to wear this there. :P

Hey thanks so much for the comments and votes and all around good vibes, you guys.

As to "Cheer Up! She Found You," I think the 60 day waiting period is up in a week or two. I'm going to put it up on Threadless as soon as it's over, so please go and vote for it if you want it (I'll put a link in my sig, then). And I'm really glad you all like that one. It's like my baby (that sounds a little gross, right?). It's the only one I'm really attached to, is what I mean.

I love this. its so cool. I love all the details you get in your drawings, all the lovely wonderful quirky goodness that is them. so awesome. I am anxiously awaiting the next trip to Laredo to pick up my new shirts, which include yours!! I can't WAIT to see them in person.

I have a technical question if you don't mind, dearest Boots...how do you transfer your stuff to the computer? do you draw directly with a tablet? all of the detail, all of the little lines..how do you get it colored in so awesomely? I draw and paint and stuff, but doing the computer stuff I have a hard time with. I work with photoshop, play with illustrator though it confuddles me..but the coloring in part I struggle with mightily. to give it all those lovely layers and depth, not to look one dimensional and flat.

OOO, good use of the big words! And no, I am not being facetious--it's the perfect description of that shirt, heh! (You should have thrown an "insipid" in there, though. ;-)

Back to the shirt on whose page I'm posting, though:

BootsBoots, your art is just so amazing..at first I was kind of ambivalent about it, but as I've seen more, and seeing this again, I REALLY like your style. You and Edgar, and a few others, are definitely too good for this site, since you're just not getting the votes and prints you should be. Not that I want you to go away--you're developing a following!
WE SHALL OVERCOME THE BANAL PRINTS!!!
Okay, now I just feel silly.

don't feel silly. I agree completely, as well as many of us others. unfortunately at the moment the insipid uninspiring designs are winning. I heart Boots and Edgar's stuff mightily. both are so unique. Boots, I also thought of what else your stuff reminds me of..its like throwback victorian a series of unfortunate events type of stuff. you and Edgar both would make the most awesome book illustrators. seriously. your stuff inhales sharply and creates suction me in and makes me stay a while.

ahuhu! You're silly!

You know, I love designing and really everybody's support and phenomenal comments are more than enough to appease me here. Print schmint. I've been looking at it like this: I make designs I like for woot. They don't print. After 60 days I take them somewhere else. Done and Done.

So, I wont go away... yet. ;)

You're not out of the loop! You're my peeps! It was a very boring message about my design process which isn't really that novel. If you want, I can forward it to you. ;)

BB, great shirt. How can a shirt be so creepy and so spot on at this same time? This is what a shirt should be! You shouldn't have to study it to understand it; you should only need a glance.

They are not allergic to the fog. Sadly, there are a few barbarians who run around this site and vote on shirts that look as if they were drawn by a five year old. Not a bad thing at all, but when they are pinned against ART such as this shirt, Edgar's, some of TGentry's (Prospector!!!), and they win, that is a problem.

Just to say it again, I NEED "SHE FOUND YOU" NOW!!! I will be sycophantically following you blog until it is posted and when it is, I will buy two. One for me and one for my wall.

I can't draw. At all. I can't even draft well with a compass, triangles, and a scale. Therefore, I doubt it would be of any use to me. I just often notice people posting PM'd, and it intrigues me.
