You know what, Ramy?
I don't like your shirts, most of the time. They're not something I'd wear, but obviously I'm not in the majority. But this one I like. I might even consider throwing down money for it, if I knew it would print okay. (The small details make me worried that it will print like "What Dreams Are Made Of," which was tragic.)

Why can't you be more like this?

This is your only shirt I'd consider buying. I don't get why you make such low quality, pointless designs when you're capable of making interesting, well-drawn stuff like this.

Why do you?

Because the apparent influx of weeaboos (or just weeaboo votes - no telling how many there really are) wouldn't vote for this.

My thoughts exactly... I didn't recognize this as your work because I've come to associate you with simple cutesy anime designs.

The difficulty is with the time constraints of derbies- because the theme is announced the day before (and I usually have work, etc.), I just brainstorm ideas that will be simple to execute and fun (at least for me). I'll hopefully do something more interesting for the heartbreak derby, since I have more time. We'll see

You realize that if you don't deliver, everyone is just going to jump down your throat?

Just sayin'.

I'm sure that they will jump down my throat no matter what I do, but I'm at least going to try and we'll see where it goes from there.

agreed. nice stuff. concerned too about the details printing, since the ink color is so subtle and close to the shirt color. which would be a shame as the details are very nice.

and another Edgar gets printed:

Fiction vs. Non-Fiction

Agreed. And I actually really like the subtle color. If it were any brighter than it looks here, I wouldn't like it nearly as much. If it printed a little darker, I wouldn't mind.

Everybody has the same time constraints. And the person who made the first comment, Jamescho, has had many shirts printed here. He did some very detailed linework in his entries.

Re: Genesis in the Mind

I really like this shirt. Is the design centered on the shirt? My monitor is very dark so I can't quite tell with the black on black graphic. GMV.
