Cool shirt. Hope it wins so I can buy one, or two, or three. GMV!

This is one of the few shirts from this double take that I would wear! I love its placement, and the design isn't too busy. People just don't think about wearability here at woot very much. Awesome image does not always equal awesome shirt.

while i like many designs ive seen here on woot, this is one of the only shirts i could see myself wearing ever. ive never bought a shirt because the winning shirts never appeal to me. if this one id actually buy it. how many anime shirts to people need? that sh*ts all over the place

I totally agree. My main issue with the woot voters is that they vote for the best design, not the best shirt. If they want to make this an art contest, that's fine, but if I am going to buy a shirt, I'm going to wear it, not frame it. This is one of 2 shirts in this derby that i would ever wear.

So what you're saying is, the best shirts have koi on them.

I was going to ask what "koi" was, but apparently that is what woot turns "c-r-a-p" into. Perhaps that is what you see Adder and if so, no sweat off my back. I like simplistic, well executed shirts like this.

Come on, Adder, don't beat around the bush. Everyone's waiting for you to really rip into this design so it can get into the fog.

You're gonna make a lot of lightning lovers very unhappy unless we see a lot more negativity from you. :-)

Yes! Getting some "new hotness" action going on!

Great shirt design. I can easily see myself wearing this.

The winning submissions are awesome/hilarious/witty, but very few are actually "wearable".

Very cool-looking shirt, simple but awesome! I want it. Gets my vote and probably my $20 for two of these if it wins.

I really would like to get this shirt printed. It is very wearable and so simple and aesthetically pleasing. Tragically I doubt it will make it into the fog

Yeah, there's just not enough controversy here. We need more comments about how it looks like another shirt from CafePress or how unoriginal it is.

Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed by all the positivity.

This shirt is so frickin unoriginal, it looks exactly like one of those ugly CafePress shirts.

Now it better get into the fog. I must have this shirt, it's just too awesome!

GAH! must have. its beautiful, really. kind of a weird word for a t-shirt. It's true though, and I would wear it with pride.

I don't like the look of the lightning, the little dots and such, and when this was in the original derby I didn't like it either. The beginning indeed...Sorry guys, this just won't win, print it elsewhere though, you got some fans.

(I'm normally not that snotty, (I hope) so maybe that'll help you guys out? :P)

Ouch. Harsh opinion. And an opinion I obviously completely disagree with! This shirt needs an editor's choice if it doesn't print.

I think Sarahpants is trying to help. Remember: we need negative energy. Thanks, SP!

At least we've identified one thing:
In order to work, this shirt needs negativity-

Or should I say electronegativity?
