I got to thinking after seeing this submission. It looks like it is an island of water floating in space and I started to wonder. In space, could you gather enough water such that it would have a sustainable gravity... And if you were able to achieve this, would the pressure at the core be enough to solidify the core into ice, or would the pressure create so much heat that it could actually become compressed steam that would then force its way back towards the surface only to be replaced by more water coming in and filing in the space which in turn would be superheated and steamed away again... Then there is the thought of whether such an environment would be condusive to life? It would likely have enough other elements in the solution to provide the basic building blocks for life and with the heat made from compression, it may be able to generate enough energy to harbor life outside of a solar system. specialized life forms could populate various layers of the aqua sphere depending on nutrient and temperature needs...
anyway, I digress...
interesting design.
