Oh for me its not even about a Mario "reference" and more about being such a jerk that you couldn't take any of the other thousands of pictures of Yoshi eggs from a Google Images search. Not everyone here can draw like a master but at least we do an honest job. You didn't bother to flip the image, tilt it, draw different spots, change colors or anything. You sir, are an ass. And I don't mind being one myself when I'm talking about people that rip others work. "Your" eggs even have a little bump on the right side of the green dot that's on the left exactly like the pixelated texture.

wow, you are a jerk. First off, WHY would i draw a yoshi egg and make it look different than a yoshi egg??? I simply pulled up a google image of a yoshi egg......and drawed it like i seen it. Dont be an ass and freak out. I dont know why its neccessary to be so rude and accuse people of stealing something that there are thousands of pictures of. Once again...i had the idea...googled a yoshi egg, drew it like i seen it so i could make it vector and BAM! So if you dont like it, dont vote for it and leave your rude comments somewhere else. Why would you draw a yoshi egg and make it look different that a yoshi egg??? Ok, theres "making it look different" the wrong way, like making the egg square with pink and black stars on it. And then theres "making it look different" the right way, like drawing a white egg with green dots that doesn't EXACTLY copy an existing image. The idea is to parody things or at least provide an original drawing of what you're taking. Make them similar enough so that you get it but not a trace of official artwork. You seriously just traced the first image of a Google image search and I busted you out on it. Yes, I think it is necessary to point out as loudly and as rudely as possible. I totally agree with you. If he really wanted to go with this idea there could have been some form of a parody attached to it. Simply copy and pasting or retracing an image already out there is childish and talentless. The gaming fad is getting old and depriving really nice "ORIGINAL" designs of votes. All of the gaming "fan boys" are ruining these derbys. Woot should auto reject any more gaming references in upcoming derbies that have nothing to do with games.

ok listen...google that image and guess what? Its comes up ALOT. Many Many websites have that egg. That same one You say i should have moved things around a bit..hmmm only problem is there are thousands of yoshi eggs on the internet. No matter what my yoshi egg is prolly gonna resemble another. There is not much to a yoshi egg, just a egg with green dots for Gosh sakes. I dont have a problem googling something like that and drawing off it cause most of them look alike. Now with that said...would i ever take someones detailed drawing of lets say a dinosaur and throw it into my design...NO! NEVER! I believe there is a line as far as whats stealing and what is not. Complaining about things that all look the same is a bit far fetched especially regarding a Egg...... And to be technical....all Yoshi eggs are based off Nintendos eggs so at one point someone looked at them on the game or something and drew off that. I would never steal art or someone elses drawing and says its mine, but when it comes to a egg....an egg is a egg green dots or not.

Glad to see the Jerks have all gotten home from work....and get your Facts straight as well...there was no copy and pasting. I pulled up a yoshi egg...and drew from what I saw...you cant take a 4 color jpg and copy and paste and just magically make it 2 color vector genious.

well, thanks for your opinions, we obviously disagree where the line is drawn but thats fine. Just dont vote for it. Lets just try to not tear eachothers heads off. My goal was not to rip off someones art. I simply found a picture of a egg and drew it. I didn't see a reason to manipulate it cause there is thousands of different eggs with different green spots and odds are you would have found one that looked like it as well. You dont like that I did it and thats fine. You dont like the game reference? Fine thats your opinion. I dont like alot of the stuff that goes on here either but i keep it to myself and dont go trying to bring people down about it. If i did try to say anything, i would certaintly not approach them the way you did me. I understand people are upset about this type of shirt but he's just doing what most other people do to get printed. It's sad but when it comes down to it you have a better chance at making money off something like this. Heck my friend who introduced me to this site only finally got printed when he made a shirt based on pop culture and cute. He got chewed out about it too but the market has spoken. If you don't do something kawaii or referencing pop culture in some way you are at a disadvantage.

Seriously, is that necessary? To nitpick on the details of the process by which you created this image to look exactly like the image thats apparently everywhere. Because if we're going all out on getting facts straight then I'd like to point out that BLACK, GREEN, and WHITE add up to 3 colors. Unless we're not counting black and white as "colors". Then its just 1. Either way, its not 2.

And now you can tell me its not GREEN its some other variate with a different name and give me hexadecimal numbers and such. It'll be great fun.

I can really appreciate the tone and dynamics in this design. The Yoshi eggs add a certain charm to the shirt, and the fact that there are three of them is extremely witty. I wish you the best of luck in the derby!

This isn't about which art is the most original. Last time I checked the button you click to vote says "I'd Want One" not "This Design gets my vote for most original in the derby". You know why shirts that reference pop culture do so well? Because PEOPLE LIKE THEM! That's what its all about, what people like, not what people have never seen before. If you don't get that then don't vote because you are not mentally capable of making a good decision.

Nice work Jfreak623. I'm voting for this mostly because its a shirt that I would wear but also partly because idroodit is a moron and I like that this shirt makes him wet himself with frustration.

As far as this one goes, its pretty laem. Just a bunch of eggs. I would need way more to even consider it, maybe a mother or something.

And the fact that you used google eggs and nothing else is the icing on the laem Cake.
