Re: Exercise Hurts.

Thanks, peeps! As to the text: the thought behind it is that it's supposed to be kind of like a public service announcement like the old "this is your brain on drugs" campaign with the egg cracking in the frying pan. I debated about the text a long time when I first submitted it though.

Re: Exercise Hurts.

I have nothing really wrong with this design, except for the "Exercise Hurts" text, but I really don't think it deserves to be fogged in this contest. Don't get me wrong Boots, I am a fan, just too simple for a double take IMO.

But, if this does end up printing, can you PLEASE add a shadow to the left part of the last eggshell? It bothers me how flat it looks.

Done! And I know what you're saying and I'm not offended. There are a lot of really good designs in the doubletake that I'd really like to see printed, but I know they probably wont make it. I'm still hoping for the editor's choices though.

This is not the shirt I want and you know that!!! Normal means are not working. I may have to move to extraordinary means...

Come on... egg cracking... beautiful tale of love and fate. Same difference right? 20 days, man! You can wait 20 days right? right?

What extraordinary means speak ye of, good Sir Mittskus? I too wouldst take up shield and sword for a shirt of Lemon radiance, for ye olde Asphalt is made new in sweet citrus.

What?! That SOB gets one when I've been posting hilarity for the past who cares how long?! What happens in 20 days? And what if we can't wait?

That's right! WE are growing.

I've commended you on your humor so many times. I also keep giving you the countdown for when Threadless releases its hold on Cheer Up and I can put it up on Cameesa. You don't LISTEN! Do you think the royal we can hold on a little bit longer? ;)

(I'll give you a seal too. Don't tell E, but they're really not worth much)

im usually a big fan of your stuff, but im just not feeling this one. A bit to corny for me. I think there are alot of other design in this derby that should print over this one but thats just my opinion. Good Luck either way!

I absolutely hope this one prints. I was so sad that bacon shirt made itin over this. I'd probably be in for 3. My BBF loved the design, she'd want one too.

Don't worry 'bout the text, just focus on how you're gonna spend the bucks, much more satisfying..;]

I'm just bummed that you don't see the bar going right through where the shell used to be. I picture 'Eggo' lifting the weights over his head, only to have his weedy little arms fаil, and the bar with weights crash straight down, smooshing the shell, ending his lifting career, starting his new...uh, life...as 'Scramblo'!.

Lol, what?

Care to explain why you think this? Or why you're this late to the party of this shirt lamentably being out of the fog?

I think, artistically, it's better than any shirt in the fog, then again, I'm a sucker for Boots' style, and I think this shirt is funny.

On top of that, nothing IN the fog except the death shirt really strikes me as something that I would wear. But I address those reasons in the actual thread.

You ask in vain, for this is how the troll operates:

(1) Snipe the designer.
(2) Ignore responses; disappear.
(3) Snipe the designer again, usually after another design has been submitted. Additionally, no indication should be given that responses to the previous snipe were ever considered or even read.

It is a boring and predictable modus operandi, but the point is not to impress others; rather, the troll merely enjoys causing a stir, or just being an ass.

Hmm... I think Boots shows an excellent grasp of what happened here. In the third picture, the stress fractures are right where they should be, where the weight is placing stress.

In my vision of the sequence of events, as "his weedy little arms omgwin!", he starts tipping to one side and is torn asunder right through the middle - leaving the bar right where it should be. Although, I think there should be some eggshell pieces lying around... ;)

Hey! How come Josephus can say "f a i l", but I get stuck with "omgwin!"?!
