I was so bummed when this took 4th place before, I'm super psyched to see it again!

I have to comment on this because I just keep thinking it each time I look at the shirt. I realize it is a really simple idea (not the shirts idea but what I'm about to say...), but I LOVE the transitions from shadow to light. How you move from white lines on light blue to light blue lines on blue to blue lines on dark blue. Amazing to look at. I just can't get over how simple yet perfect those transitions are.

Oh and the rest of the design is swell too! :P

I think you mean white and blue lines on light blue, and dark blue lines on blue. But yes - well done.

Out of the fog. By a long ways, too.

Yes I figured someone would correct me after I realized that I posted wrong, but I was too lazy to edit.

Either way, I still can't get over how simple yet amazing that technique is.

I can't believe this hasn't gotten at least into the top 5!?! It is just so clever and so well done.

Darn it. (Can we write "dammit"?)

This shirt is amazing in just about every way and deserves to be printed.

I have to say, I was bummed when this did not place during the art deco derby. In my opinion, it is the coolest design in the honorable mention contest... And I've personally reviewed/seen alot of artwork over the years as an animation, creative and art director. Great job and good luck.

I cannot believe this design is losing to an illustration of an overused phrase and an illustration of a monk. So frustrating.
