Re: Hero

Hero’s have a funny way of developing a huge target on their backs. This little guy is just about to find out why not everyone can be a hero.

Check out my Imaginative Kitten entry too!!!

The one thing I love about the derby, is watching people get more votes in the 1st 10 minutes, than I will get in the entire 144 hours.

Woot! For a while there, I was afraid I was the only person who was gonna vote for me.

I know the feeling! +1 for you sir!

The Moon looks a little odd on the skyline, and I think if you added some shadows and a little shading here and there your design would look a lot better! =) Try for a more subtle color scheme also. Not everyone likes to wear shirts that feature reds, blues, greens, and yellows. Try to tone it down and use the shirt color as some of your coloring as well. The more everything "blends" together, the nicer it usually works. Keep up the good work, you're definitely improving!

Hey thanks for taking the time to comment! I really wasn't happy with this one, but I subbed it anyway, because.. well... just because I wanted to get something entered friday at noon... lol.

I am working on everything you mention... although using the shirt color in my design part is something I have failed at miserably so far. I am learning new tricks every week to make shading easier. I will definitely try spend a bit more time picking out my colors. I tend to gravitate towards more cartoon strip-ish designs, and I guess my colors do too.

Thanks again for the tips, they are truly appreciated. Now back to work on design #2. I am digging deep into my bag of cute for this one.
