I like the design, but I don't know how well it's going to show up on the shirt. It's very blendy.

Wow, V&V here? How did woot get so lucky? This is so awesome, you're sure to get at least an honorable mention, but I'm gonna hope for a print anyway. Good luck!

Of course you don't know how it's going to show up, because you know absolutely nothing about t-shirt design. Thankfully, Priscilla here is a very experienced, multi-printed designer, and knows exactly what she's doing with those colors. You probably won't recall that other people who have no idea what they're talking about had similar concerns about geekfactor12's Dinosaurs, and that printed wonderfully. There are countless other examples of designers who know what they're doing ending up with shirts that print exactly like they look on the screen, along with those who are clueless when it comes to the t-shirt canvas ending up with poor prints. This is definitely a case of the former.

Excuse me for making an inane, obvious comment. I'm afraid that much of this design would blend/hide on the shirt. I'm expressing my feelings/opinions, not trying to state a fact. If you don't agree with my misgivings, I understand, but there's no need to jump down my throat.

I did vote for this shirt and would buy it if it printed.

Re: Some Band!

Thanks for your comments so far! :-)

I can see the concern on how this might print... I wanted it to have more of a vintage look/feel and often the colors are a little more muted and subtle. I think it would show up fine on the shirt though – I tried to make sure there was still enough contrast for the design to be visible.

Thanks, blahmcblah! Are you on Threadless too?

Hey now, even those with a clue can make mistakes. Pandora's Friends, for example. That Woot's template colours aren't always accurate only makes things worse.

I'm not on my regular computer so colours are different here - is this a red or cranberry shirt? I'm sure it would print wonderfully on the former. Cranberry would have less contrast, but I think would still be ok.

It's set up on Cranberry, but the palette would work on Red too.

I like the Psychadelic style of the piece (the font especially), combined with the ironic quip about hipster culture. GMV!

There seem to be a few subs working this same angle, but none of them are nearly as elegant as this one. Kudos V&V, great to see you here on Woot!

Really sad this didn't get more votes, but if ever anything deserved an editors choice this is it.
